Part 55 That means...
Arnav was dumbfounded seeing his mother standing with Nani. He could not believe his eyes. At first, he thought he was hallucinating. How could he see his mother all of a sudden? Something sparkled in his mind. Was this the outcome of their consummation? Damn... could their consummation give such a wonderful outcome? Of course, their consummation itself was wonderful... and this was taking him to Cloud nine.
"Maa..." jumped out of his throat.
"I don't know where is she..." Nani said as she thought he was asking about his mother.
But, Ratna understood he could see her. Arnav's facial expression elaborated it to her. A lonely tear that slipped from Arnav's eyes was enough for her to understand his state.
"Chotte, could you see me?" She asked unbelievably. She could not understand how suddenly Arnav got the power of seeing her because she didn't think the first night would have been completed as Khushi was injured.
Arnav nodded yes.
"Haan... I can see you Maa..."
Nani was bewildered. Was Arnav seeing Ratna?
"Chotte, what are you talking about?" Nani questioned with disbelief.
Before Arnav said anything, Ratna pulled Nani inside the room and closed the door. She didn't want anyone to hear their conversation on the very very sensitive matter. Arnav and Nani also understood that.
"Han Nani, I can see Maa. She is here" he said taking steps towards Ratna.
In no time, Arnav hugged Ratna and spilled tears on her shoulder.
"I missed you maa... I missed you like hell"
"It's our fate Chotte. Being close to each other, we wear unable to feel one another" She caressed his hair.
Arnav broke the hug angrily.
"No Maa, this is not fate but a ploy. We wear betrayed. Whomever the culprit is, I will teach him a lesson"
"We will surely do it. I am not going to forgive him for any reason. He not only killed me but also made me roam as a ghost. He kept me helpless for more than eighteen years. Only I know how it feels to be unhelpful to my child" Ratna said furiously and that consoled Arnav.
They saw Nani who was standing in confusion. She looked at Arnav and asked,
"How did you get the power of seeing Ratna all of a sudden, Chotte? What happened that gave you this power?"
Arnav got stuck. He met a tough time not to smile. His flushed facial expression told Ratna what would have happened. Nani frowned as she could not understand the meaning of his expression.
"Did you complete your first night?" Ratna asked.
Arnav nodded yes without having a choice. He knew he could not hide it from his mother.
"But how? Was not Khushi injured?"
"No. she was not injured. She just acted to cheat the person who intentionally made her fall down" Arnav opened it out.
Ratna and Nani were thrilled. Now Nani got the point that how Arnav got the power.
"I think you gained this power from Khushi's divinity," Ratna said.
"Yes Maa, she didn't want to give any chance to my enemy. She was so clear and stubborn on that point"
"That means have you guys finished your first night?" Nani asked to confirm what she understood was right or wrong.
"Yes, Nani..."
"Did you feel any changes in you?" Nani asked curiously.
"Yes Nani, I felt something changing in me but I didn't expect I would get such power"
"This is why your enemy doesn't want you to marry Khushi. They would have known that she not only has power but she can even afford the power to you." Nani said.
"That's why they Intentionally made her fall down last evening"
"This is getting intense..."
"Yes, Nani... more intense..."
That was when they heard a washroom opening sound. Khushi came out of the washroom. Seeing Ratna and Nani in the room, she started walking slowly clutching her hip, maintaining her drama, as if she was still in pain. Arnav chuckled seeing her doing that whereas Ratna and Nani control their laughter.
As Khushi did not know about the power Arnav gained through their consummation, she didn't think Arnav would have told them about the completion of their first night.
"What happened Khushi?" Ratna asked.
"It's still aching Maji. I can't walk properly" she said making a face.
"Chotte, this is not done. Is this how you handle your wife on your first night? See, how she is struggling to even walk..." Ratna chided Arnav who controlled his laughter.
Khushi's eyes popped out. What did she talk about? First night? She bit her nail.
"I think you are so innocent, Khushi Bitiya. I never expected you would be so brave... you have brilliantly completed your first night pretending like you were injured. You fooled your enemy cleverly" Nani smiled.
She looked that Arnav with shocking expression.
"Such a blabber mouth you are... will you recite everything to everyone?" She pouted.
"How could he resist himself from reciting everything to us when he could see his mother?" Nani smiled.
Khushi was stunned. She blinked her eyes fast.
"What did you say Naniji?"
"Chotte got the power of seeing his mother"
Khushi's face bloomed. She looked that Arnav and Ratna delightfully.
"Could you see Maji?" she asked eagerly.
Arnav nodded yes.
"Really? I can't believe this... Thanks to Devi Maiya" She hoped.
"What will Khushi do now? Will she be pretending like she is injured?" Nani questioned.
"No Nani... no need. She is going to walk to the dining casually. Let's see the reaction of people"
"What if she is cornered again?"
"You may be right, Naniji but how long could I be pretending? We have to face this however..."
"Khushi is right Nani. Let's face it" They saw a NEW courage in Arnav.
"I am going to Maya's house to back check her" Ratna said.
"Be careful Maji." Khushi said.
Ratna extended her hand towards Khushi. Clutching her hand, Khushi started chanting the regular doze of Mantra. Arnav raised his eyebrows.
"What is happening Nani?"
"The Pandit asked Khushi to chant this Mantra when she kept fasting. When the witch craft doll was burnt, Ratna felt some strong power tried to tie her up again. But when Khushi clutched her hand, she got release from the ties. The Pandit asked Khushi to chant the same mantra for twenty-eight times everyday morning clutching Ratna's hand. But Khushi chants for hundred and eight times to make her stronger. That is what keeps Ratna safe"
"Are Poojas really powerful to this extend?" Arnav asked
"It's a matter of Faith Chotte. We pray God and ask what we want. But the God expects only one thing from us... Faith. If you start trusting God whole heartedly, you will experience extreme level of blessings. And here, Khushi is someone who has the divinity in her. She can make anything possible through Pooja. The outcome of the Pooja will be triple if she does"
Arnav gulped down hard. How would he be not believing in God? Everything was happening in front of his eyes. A girl who was a child of god came into his life. Then everything changed for good in his life. He sensed his mother, touched his mother, and finally, he saw his mother... with the help of Khushi. She believed in God. Then God must be true. Arnav believed.
Khushi completed chanting mantras.
"I am going" Ratna said.
"I am also going. you guys come later" said Naani and left the room with Ratna.
The next second, Arnav hug Khushi tightly, making her jerk as she didn't expect it.
"Thank you Khushi, thank you for everything, thank you for coming into my life. I can see my mother... I can talk to her... I even hugged her... it's everything because of you"
Breaking the hug, he pressed his lips on her forehead.
"I love you so much... More than myself" he again hugged her.
Khushi reciprocated with a smile.
Arnav sat on the bed thinking something deep.
"What are you thinking about Arnavji?"
"You know I met a Guruji... "
"Yes, you told us"
"I asked him about seeing my mother"
"What did he say?"
"He said I will see her before she rests in peace," he said meeting her eyes deeply.
"That means..."
Arnav nodded yes.

Khushi nodded okay.
"Are you going to keep fasting again on the Durga Ashtami day?" Arnav asked.
"Yes, Arnavji. I believe the pooja will bring a special power to Maji"
"That means our enemy would not let you complete the pooja. They will hit you from all directions. So, just keep it secret. We will do the arrangements secretly"
"We did the same the previous time also. We fetched the needed things through Hari Prakashji."
"Then this time also do the same."
"Ok"
" I think everything will get over in a month"
"No... in a week," Khushi said in a flow making Arnav stunned.
