Heeseung Fate

The sun was beginning its descent, casting long shadows across the cityscape. The Gucci office was winding down for the day, but Heeseung was still at his desk, absorbed in the details of a new campaign. He was lost in thought when he noticed a flurry of activity outside his office. His curiosity piqued, he glanced up to see Gaeul animatedly speaking with someone at the reception desk.

The man with Gaeul was a tall, well-built individual with a friendly demeanor. His face was unfamiliar to Heeseung, but what caught his attention was the way Gaeul's eyes sparkled with recognition and affection. They seemed to be engaged in an animated conversation, punctuated by frequent laughter and warm smiles.

Heeseung's gaze narrowed as he observed the interaction. He felt a pang of jealousy as he watched Gaeul's animated expression and the way her friend seemed to dominate her attention. The man, with his charming demeanor and easy rapport, was obviously someone important to Gaeul. Heeseung's mind raced, trying to piece together who this person was and why he was so affected by their interaction.

As Gaeul's friend finally said his goodbyes and left, Heeseung seized the opportunity to approach her. His tone was casual, but his mind was anything but.

"Hey, Gaeul. Who was that guy? He seemed pretty friendly with you."

Gaeul turned to Heeseung with a bright smile. "Oh, that's Joon-ho, a childhood friend of mine. We haven't seen each other in years, so we decided to catch up. He's just visiting the city and wanted to see me."

Heeseung nodded, masking his frustration. "I see. That's nice. It must have been good to reconnect with an old friend."

Gaeul's smile widened. "Yeah, it was great. We're planning to have dinner tomorrow night. It's been ages since we've had the chance to just hang out."

Heeseung forced a smile, his thoughts already racing with a mix of jealousy and annoyance. "Sounds like a fun evening. Enjoy yourself."

As Gaeul left for the day, Heeseung's mind was a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. The thought of Gaeul spending time with someone from her past, someone who clearly had a special place in her life, stirred up a profound sense of jealousy within him. He tried to focus on his work, but his thoughts kept drifting back to Gaeul and Joon-ho.

#### The Call for Help

The next evening, Heeseung found himself increasingly distracted by the prospect of Gaeul's dinner with Joon-ho. His mind was consumed by images of them together, laughing and reminiscing, and it was beginning to eat away at him.

Unable to contain his frustration any longer, Heeseung decided to take drastic action. He knew he needed to do something to get Gaeul's attention and address the feelings of jealousy that were consuming him. He picked up his phone and dialed her number, his heart pounding with a mixture of anticipation and anxiety.

When Gaeul answered, her voice was filled with concern. "Heeseung? Is something wrong?"

Heeseung put on a feigned tone of distress. "Gaeul, I'm not feeling well at all. I think I might be coming down with something. Could you come over and help me? I really need someone I can trust right now."

Gaeul's voice was filled with worry. "Of course, Heeseung. I'll be there as soon as I can."

When Gaeul arrived at Heeseung's apartment, she found him lying on the couch, his face covered with a hot handkerchief. He looked pale and tired, and her heart ached at the sight of him.

"I'm so sorry to hear you're not feeling well," she said, her voice gentle as she approached him. "Let me make you something to eat. It might help you feel better."

Heeseung managed a weak smile, grateful for her concern. "Thank you, Gaeul. I really appreciate it."

As Gaeul headed to the kitchen to prepare some food, Heeseung took this opportunity to implement his plan. He carefully got up from the couch and made his way to the kitchen, trying to keep his movements as quiet as possible.

#### The Kitchen Encounter

Gaeul was busy at the stove, stirring a pot of soup, her back turned to Heeseung. The kitchen was filled with the comforting aroma of the cooking food. Heeseung approached her silently, his heart pounding with a mixture of excitement and nervousness.

Slowly, he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, pulling her close. Gaeul stiffened in surprise, her body tensing at the unexpected touch. She could feel the warmth of Heeseung's body pressed against her back, and her heart began to race.

"Heeseung?" Gaeul's voice was tentative as she tried to understand what was happening. "What are you—"

Before she could finish her sentence, Heeseung's grip tightened around her waist, his embrace both comforting and possessive. He buried his face in her neck, his breath warm against her skin. Gaeul could feel the strength in his arms, and she found herself unable to resist.

Heeseung's voice was low and filled with emotion. "Gaeul... I'm really sorry for being so needy. It's just that... I've been feeling really jealous lately."

Gaeul's breath hitched at his confession. "Jealous? Of what?"

Heeseung pressed his body closer to hers, his tone filled with frustration and longing. "Of Joon-ho. And the time you've been spending with him. And that dinner you're planning. It's been driving me crazy."

Gaeul's heart pounded in her chest as she processed his words. She could feel the sincerity in his voice, and it made her heart ache. "Heeseung, you didn't need to pretend to be sick to tell me this."

Heeseung tightened his hold on her, his grip both comforting and possessive. "I didn't know how else to get your attention. I just... I needed you to know how I feel."

Gaeul turned in his arms, looking up at him with a mixture of surprise and affection. "Heeseung, I had no idea you felt this way. I thought... I thought you were just being your usual charming self."

Heeseung's expression softened as he looked down at her. "I was trying to be, but seeing you with Joon-ho made me realize just how much I care about you. I didn't want to admit it, but I'm really jealous."

Gaeul's heart swelled with a mix of emotions. She reached up and cupped his face, her touch gentle. "You don't have to be jealous, Heeseung. I'm here for you. And I care about you too."

Heeseung's eyes searched hers, filled with a mixture of relief and longing. He leaned in closer, his lips brushing against hers in a tender kiss. The kiss was soft and hesitant, but it spoke volumes about the feelings they both harbored.

As they pulled away, Heeseung looked at Gaeul with a renewed sense of hope. "I'm glad we had this chance to talk. I've been holding onto these feelings for too long."
