Chapter Four
ANAIS
I spun around in front of the full length mirror in front of me. I was in a cute light pink halter dress that I bought at the mall with Audrey. I smiled as I looked at myself, satisfied with what I was seeing. I couldn't contain my excitement for Steve's party tonight.
First time kong makakapunta sa party. Dad agreed to let me go to the party because Audrey was going to be there too. But then he was Atticus Xavier Enrique Lavigne, there's always a catch when it comes to him, I had to be home by nine o'clock sharp. No more than a minute late or he'd never let me go to any parties again for as long as I live under his roof.
"What are you wearing?" It was the first thing Dad said to me when I got down from my room. He was looking at me like I just murdered someone. "What is this, Anais?"
"Well, it's a dress..." I answered.
"Don't go smart on me. You're wearing a halter dress. Walang sleeve yang damit mo."
"Yeah, so? What are you thinking, Dad? That guys are going to be turned on by my sexy shoulders?" I sarcastically said. "Geez, we're not Amish!"
"I'm thinking this isn't a good idea." He said.
"But Daaaaaad! You promised!" I whined.
"I bet she just wants to go to the party so she can kiss boys and hold hands with them!" My demon child sister butted in.
I turned my head and threw her a piercing glare at the little brat.
She gave me an evil smile and then stuck her tongue out.
"I'm going to kill you." I mouthed.
"Bryce and Anais, stop it, you two!" Saway ni Mommy sa amin. "Bryce, darling, go back to the dining room. Finish your dinner."
Pagkaalis ni Bryce binaling ang atensyon kay Daddy. "Give your daughter a break. She's a normal teenager who needs normal social interactions! You can't keep her locked up in the house. Wala ka bang tiwala sa anak mo?"
"Meron. But Val baby, you don't understand men." He shook his head.
Mom sighed and rolled her eyes. "Dumaan din ako sa pagiging teenager, Axel. If you keep doing that to our daughter, you're only going to be raising good liars. Kung hindi mo papayagan yan, tatakas lang yan. I know because I've been through that. You can't keep them under your control for the rest of their lives."
"You said it, Mom!" I cheered her.
"I just want my daughters safe. Thats all. She's still a minor, Val!"
"I know that but she's old enough to know what's right from wrong. I was once her age too. Tinatakasan ko din ang Daddy noon. I go out with my friends and party but I turned out fine, didn't I? I didn't go around fooling around with other guys." Mom said.
Dad and Mom just chuckled and wrapped his arm around Dad's waist. "Yeah, I guess you're right..."
"So can I go now? Baka nakakaistorbo na ako sa inyo." I impatiently said with a disgusted look on my face. It was so awkward standing there, watching them get all lovey-dovey, touchy-feely, icky-gooey.
"Fine." Dad sighed. "Nine o'clock, Anais. Paglumagpas ka kahit isang minuto, you'll never be allowed to go to any parties without your mother chaperoning you."
"Okay! See you later Dad, Mom!" And I stormed out as fast as I could. I felt like a bird out of its cage. Finally! Sobrang excited ko talaga! This was the first ever college party I'd ever go to.
"Get in." Coco rolled his car window down, his car was already parked in front of our house when I got out.
"Pupunta ka din sa party?" I asked. "Steve's gonna go insane when he sees you."
"I'm driving you and Drey." Sabi niya.
"Hey, jerk! Be careful, okay? Huwag kang magpapatakbo ng mabilis. Susumbong kita kay Mama." Audrey's head popped from the backseat of the car.
"Yeah, yeah..." Coco answered apathetically.
"Let's go, Anais!" Aya ni Audrey at binuksan ang pinto.
"Ano ako driver niyo?" Coco scowled. "Dito ka umupo sa tabi ko."
"Fine!" I walked to the other side of the car and slipped into the passenger's seat next to Coco. He then started the car and drove off.
"Dad said I have to be home by nine." Sabi ko kay Audrey.
"Really? Then we only have like..." She looked at her wristwatch. "less than two hours."
"I'll drive her home later and then I'll go back to pick you up. How does that sound?" Tanong ni Coco.
"Alright." Audrey shrugged and then she turned to me. "You'll enjoy the party, Anais. Steve throws the most epic parties ever."
"Everybody knows that." I chuckled. "I heard there's even going to be celebrities at the party."
"Too bad my idiot of a brother here can't come." She playfully messes his hair.
Coco flinched. "Hey, stop!"
Audrey laughed. "Because he tried to bone Stevie's girlfriend."
"I did not! The girl was all over me. Pinagbigyan ko lang siya." Coco defended.
"Ang yabang mo talaga!" Sabi ni Audrey. "How do you stand this guy, Anais? He's my twin and he annoys me even."
"Beats me." I shrugged, laughing.
"Shouldn't you be the one asking me that question?" He frowned. "She's a total pain in the ass."
"Then what does that make you?" Audrey leaned back to her seat and started taking a compact out of her purse. She looked into the mirror of her small compact and started powdering herself.
"A martyr." He snided.
"Ang kapal mo talaga!" I exclaimed.
"Totoo naman, di ba?" He chuckled. I inhaled a sharp breath when I felt the warmth of his palm rest on my exposed thigh.
I turned my head to Coco and glowered at him as he began to caress my thigh. He just answered back with an annoying smug smile on his face, looking straight ahead on the road in front of his. Anxious, I looked at Audrey who sat on the backseat of the car. She was busy with putting makeup on.
Coco's hand went a little higher until it was up my dress.
"Buti napapayag mo si tito Axel." Audrey said as she put mascara on.
"Well, uh yeah, but you know... that's kind of um... still hesitant about it." My voice quivered as I felt Coco's fingers teasingly played with the side of my panties.
"My dad was like that too when I was your age. Nung nag-eighteen kami ni Coco medyo nagmellow down na siya and he trusts me na I won't do anything he won't like naman." Sabi ni Audrey.
He palmed me through my panties. I could feel the familiar heat building up into the pit of my stomach. His fingers glinded on to my slit, making me gasp at the sensation. Audrey was talking but I couldn't understand a word she was saying. All I could focus on was the sensation of his hot palm against my sex.

Audrey nodded her head and went back to doing her makeup. Coco chuckled quietly as I glared at him. After a few moments, he pulled off in front of Steve's house. It was grand and over the top, exactly how I'd imagine. Steve lived in a village where alot of celebrities are living. Kinda like the Beverly Hills of the Philippines.
"So, what are you your plans? Are you going to stay here and wait for us, twinnie?"
"Stop calling me that!" Coco's face crumpled. "I'll just sleep in my car. Dad said you're not allowed to drink. Kahit kambal kita hindi kita pagtatakpan. I will tell on you. No flirting with guys. Just stay with your friends and don't accept any drinks from other people. If you want a drink, you go get it yourself., and it has to be sealed. You don't want to get roofied, do you?"
"Not all guys are like you, Coco." Audrey joked, chuckling.
"I'm serious here, Drey. Dad's gonna kill me if something bad happens to you." Sabi niya. "And always keep Anais in your sight. Ikaw na ang bahala sa kanya."
"Okay, kuya." She rolled her eyes. "Let's go, Anais?"
"Sige, susunod na lang ako." I smiled.
"Okay, I'll just go see my friends inside. Bilisan mo ah!" She said.
I nodded my head, she pushed the door open and got out. I was left with Coco.
"Asshole." I punched him on his arm.
"What?" He chuckled.
"What do you mean, what? Paano kung nakita ni Audrey yun? Have you had no decency? Talagang sa harap pa ng kambal mo?"
"Calm down. Geez! Hindi niya naman nakita. I know you liked it. I made you wet, didn't I?"
"You're so unbelievable!" I screamed at him. Now I was all sexually aroused and frustrated because of what he did. I'd been squeezing my legs together, trying to find sweet relief
"That'll help you let all your frustrations out." He mocked, laughing.
"Idiot!" Sabi ko.
"Want me to put you out of your misery?" He asked, his habd snaking on my thigh again.
"Leave my private alone!" I hissed.
He leaned over, cupping my chin and lowering his face time. "You're going to remember me all night, Anais. You're going to be all hot and bothered and you'll ever think of is me, stroking that sweet pussy."
"You bastard." I groaned.
"Go ahead. Drey's waiting for you" He pressed a kiss on my lips an gently bit the bottom of it. Then he pulled away. "You know where to find me."
I wanted to leave but at the same time, I didn't. I sighed and had to force myself out of the car. That ass had a way of controlling me when he wanted and I hated it. I took in a breath, trying to compose myself before marching jnto the party. Agad kong nakita si Audrey sa bungad ng pinto kasama ang nga friends niya.
"Anais!" She waved at me. There was Maddison, Scarlett, and Therese.
"Hey, Anais. Glad to see you here." Therese said. "Buti naman pinayagan ka na ni tito Axel."
"It took alot of convincing pero napapayag din si Dad after Audrey talked to him."
"Let's go in." Aya ni Scarlett.
It was crazy inside. The house was already packed with people and music were blasting in every direction. My eyes caught Steve, just in time as he turned his head to my direction. Our gaze locked and she waved at me.
"Anais! Hi!" Lumapit siya sa akin.
He said something but I couldn't hear it because of the loud music so I had to ask hin again.
"I said how are you? Glad you could nake it to my party!" Pasigaw na sabi niya.
"I won't miss it for the world." I said.
"So how do you find my party?"
"It's... jammed." I smiled, looking around. "Your guests seem to be enjoying themselves."
"Hope you're enjoying too." He said.
"Of course I am." I answered. If Coco hadn't left me hanging and I wasn't this um, horny, I would probably be enjoying right now.
"There's beer in the kitchen."
"No I'm good." I shook my head.
"Okay." He wrapped an arm around the small of my waist. "I'll introduce you to my friends."
Pinaalam niya ako kina Audrey at sumama ako sa kanya. His friends were a bunch of famous teen celebrities too just like him. Those people I only see in movies and billboards before. I was starstrucked at first but Steve made me feel at ease. They were really nice to me and they were the most chill people I'd ever met.
"So how long have you two been going out?" Asked Sophie, she was best known as the primetime princess.
"We're not dating." I said.
"Yet." Steve added.
"Smooth, bro!" Jonathan, the teen heartthrob patted him on the shoulder as he chuckled.
I blushed a little when he turned his head and smiled at me.
"Gusto sana kitang ligawan, Anais. If that's okay with you..."
I looked at him and lifted my eyes up to his friends who were all looking at me too, waiting for me to answer. "Yeah, I guess so..."
"Really?" His eyes lit up.
"Really." I nodded my head.
"You don't know how happy you made me today." He took my hand and kissed the back of it. "Thank you, Anais."
This was like a dream come true. The famous teen star and every girl in my school's dream guy wanted to court me! He wanted me to be his girlfriend. I wanted to slap myself just to check if I was dreaming. I appeared calm while I chatted with him and his friends but I was screaming and squealing internally.
"I know it's kind of a surprise pero matagal na kitang gusto. I've liked you since ther first day I saw you." He said.
I bit my bottom lip. Help me, God! Nahuhulog yata ang puso ko. "I kind of feel the same way too."
"Does this mean you guys are already dating?" Tanong ni Danica, his model friend.
"Ayaw kong madaliin. I want to get to know him better first." Plus my Dad's going to kill me kapag nalaman niyang pumayag akong magpaligaw.
"That's what I like about you. You don't easily give in, hindi katulad ng ibang mga babae. You know you're worth and you know you're worth waiting for. I promise, Ana, I will sweep you off your feet." He said with a smile. I felt tingly all over, I just didn't know if it was still from what Coco did earlier or his words.
"Where have you two met anyway?" His other friend asked.
"Sa theatre club. Sumali siya sa club namin a year ago. She was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen."
"Ano ka ba? Ikaw binobola mo na ako." I couldn't help but chuckle.
"Don't tell me you don't know that? Every guy in the club has a crush on you. God, you're so unassuming. I like that." Sabi ni Steve.
I enjoyed Steve and his friends' company so much that I almost forgot about my curfew. Audrey had to pull me away from them and remind me.
"Shouldn't you be going home?" She asked. "Baka mapagalitan ka ni tito Axel."
"I didn't notice the time." I said and squeal. "Drey, he asked me kung pwede niya akong ligawan."
"OMG! Ano'ng sabi mo?"
"Of course, I said yes! Sino ba naman ako para mag-no kay Steve Ocampo?"
"Anais, be careful, okay? You're still young. I mean, I know Steve is an okay guy but you still have to be careful. You're like a little sister to me and I don't want to see you hurt." She tucked some loose strands of my hair behind my ear.
"I will." I gave her a reassuring smile.
"But I'm happy for you. Alam ko naman na matagal mo na siyang crush." She giggled.
We both gushed about him like we were highschoolers for a little while. Then I had to go say goodbye to him and the new friends I made today.
"I'll see you around, okay?" He sweetly said, taking my hands and kissing the back of it.
I nodded my head, feeling like I was floating.
"See you." My voice came out as a squeak.
Nagpaalam na din ako kina Therese, Maddie at Scarlett pagkatapos.
"Can't you stay a little longer? Kararating mo lang." Said Therese.
"You know my dad. He's paranoid." I rolled my eyes.
"That's too bad. You're going to miss all the fun. I heard Gerald's band is going to play later." Sabi ni Maddie.
"Yeah, and we're going to have sleepover later at Therese's house. Baka payagan ka naman ng Daddy mo." Sabi ni Audrey.
"Oh, you're all forgetting something. He's Atticus Xavier-"
"He's Atticus Xavier Enrique Lavigne." Halos magkakasabay na sabi ng tatlo at natawa kaming lahat.
"Yep. So no." I said.
Hinatid nila ako kung saan naka-park ang car ni Coco. The hood of his sweater was pulled over to his face as he slept in the driver's seat. Kinatok siya ni Audrey. He sat up right, startled and then he rolled down his window.
"Hey, ladies. Ready to go home?" He asked.
"Si Anais lang ang ihahatid mo. I called Mama, nagpaalam ako sa kanya na dun ako matutulog kina Therese."
"Are you sure, Drey?" Kumunot ang noo ni Coco. "Baka kung saan saan pa kayo magpunta niyan."
"We're heading straight to Therese's after the party. Kung gusto you can call tito Wayne to check up on us pa." Audrey answered.
After that, I slipped inside the car and Coco drove off.
"So, how was the party?" He asked as he drove.
"It was fun. I chatted with Sophie, Danica, Lewis, Gerald and Steve's other celebrity friends." I gushed.
"You were with Steve?" He gave me a sideway glance.
"Yeah..."
"Yeah? Why were you with him? Akala ko ba sila Audrey ang kasama mo."
"He invited me to join him and his friends. Bakit ba?"
"Ano'ng bakit ba?" He suddenly stopped his car. "You know I hate that guy's guts!"
"So? What do I have to do with it?"
"Didn't I tell you to stay away from him?" His voice raised a little higher.
"Why do you want me to stay away from him? Kayo ang may problema, hindi kami!" I exlaimed. "In fact, nililigawan niya na nga ako..."
There was a sudden silence between us.
"Pumayag ka?" He asked in a monotone.
"Coco, I like Steve."
"Yes or no?" He pressed.
Yes... Pumayag akong ligawan niya ako. Alam mo naman na matagal ko na siyang gusto. Are you not happy for me?"
"Screw you!" He angrily slammed his door open and got out. Sumandal siya sa gilid ng kotse niya. I sighed and followed him outside. Tumabi ako sa kanya at ipinulupot ko ang mga bisig ko sa baywang niya.
"Galit ka?" I pouted.
He ignored me.
"Coco naman. I don't like it when we fight. I'm sorry."
I shrieked when he suddenly pushed me on top of his car's hood. "Coco! What are you-"
Siniil niya ako ng madiin na halik sa labi. His lips were punishing on mine. He kissed me firmly, roughly, and hard. His tongue delved into my mouth as I felt his weight dropping on top of my body.
"Coco, we're in the middle of the road!" I gasped when I finally got the chance to pull away from his kiss. Nasa isang madilim na kalsada kami. There were nothing but trees around. No lights, no people, no cars passing by. Just us. Nag-aalala lang ako na baka may biglang dumaan na kotse at makita kami.
"Don't care." He said as his lips trailed down my jaw. He positioned his body between my legs, grinding his hardness against my sex. "You hard-headed little brat."

"If that's what you want then okay." There was hostility in his voice.
"Galit ka pa rin ba sa akin?" I asked.
He shrugged and got back in. Sumunod na din akong pumasok sa kotse niya. Hindi kami nag-usap hanggang sa ibaba niya ako sa tapat ng bahay namin.
"Thanks." I said.
He just nodded his head as an answer.
I kissed him on the cheek before getting out of the car. Ewan ko kung bakit pero pakiramdam ko ang bigat ng dibdib ko. I wanted to cry. I opened the door to our house and surely Dad was sitting on the living room with Mom. He was probably waiting for me. Hinihintay niya na malate ako so he'd have a good excuse not to let me out anymore.
"Eight fifty-eight." Dad said, looking at his watch.
"How was the party, honey?" Tanong ni Mommy.
"It was... alright..." Kibit-balikat na sabi ko.
"May problema ba?" She asked, worried.
"No, I'm fine." I said and hurried up to my room.
Ibinagsak ko ang sarili ko sa kama at niyakap ang unan ko. I ended our little game and I wanted to regret it.
