Part 2 Unimaginable
Aman looked at Nandhini.
"I hope you understood my problem." She said.
"Madam, actually, the problem is you..."
Nandhini glared at him.
"Yes, Madam, ASR is not wrong. It's a common desire for a man. His expectations are normal. Wishing to be with his wife is his right..."
"Oh, shut up, Aman. I'm not fond of relationships and all. Why should a woman always depend on a man? I'm running an empire. Thousands of people are working under me. Because of me, hundreds of families are surviving. I don't need a man."
"Then why did you marry him?"
"I married him because my father tortured me."
"For the mistake your father made, it's not justified to punish Arnav, Madam. Poor him, he has been waiting for you for three years, if you are not interested in him, not interested in family life, just divorce him. You can do anything freely, without his tension. Is this pressure necessary?"
"Look, Aman, my reputation is more important to me than anything. I have respect in society. Knowingly or unknowingly, I married Arnav. it's his fate to be with me, as my husband. It doesn't mean I will go to his room and have physical intimacy with him. I can't do that. Family is not my cup of coffee. I can't fulfil his expectation about going to his room and all."
"This is an arranged marriage. You guys don't know each other. Without you going to his room, how could you understand each other? Going to his room means not only physical intimacy, Madam. It encompasses everything, from your interest in Arnav to your family life. We would like to be with the one we love, but you are not ready to do it. It's clear you don't like Arnav. That one point is enough to get a divorce."
"He can't divorce me easily. he has to settle his whole property as alimony..."
"He doesn't have to do that, madam... a new law has been passed. If the wife is rich enough, the husband doesn't need to give alimony."
"What do you mean?" Nandhini was shocked.
"Yes, madam. The law has recently been passed."
Nandhini was shattered. She had been daring, forcing her arrogance on Arnav, only because of the law. But now, that was at the stack.
"You have no other choice but to divorce him. Or, give a chance to your relationship."
"Talk like a lawyer, Mr Aman Mathur." Came from the entrance.
Aman saw Nandhini's manager, Natasha, standing.
"You are her lawyer, but you are taking Arnav's side. Is this why Nandhini is paying you?"
"Just because she's paying me, I can't hide the truth from her. Being her lawyer, it's my duty to clear everything with her first. then only I can do accordingly. You don't tell me what I should do, madam." Aman said, heated up.
Natasha looked at Nandhini.
"What's the point, Aman?"
"You can't stop Arnav anymore. Your side is weak. Physical relationship is vital in a wedding relationship. If you are not interested, that's your choice, because no one should be forced. At the same time, you can't force him to stay in the relationship. This will be the court judgment, madam."
"Ok, being my lawyer, tell me, what should I do to stop Arnav except for accepting him as my husband...?"
"Nothing..."
"Something must be there... think and say..."
Aman became annoyed.
"What do you do, madam? Being human, he needs someone to share his feelings and fulfil his bodily needs. What will you do for that? Will you send a woman to him every night?" he asked irritably.
Nandhini was stuck for a while and said,
"This sounds good..."
"Whaaaat?" Aman asked with disbelief.
"Yeah, why not? I can send a girl to him."
"Madam, you are his wife. Talk like one."
"Why are you agitating when I'm fine with that? He needs a woman. I'm ready to provide one. what's the problem?"
"Madam, but..."
"Listen, it's Arnav who should decide what he wants. Talk to him..."
She walked out, and her manager followed her. Aman stood, wondering what kind of woman she was!
He threw his hand in the air with annoyance. He should talk to Arnav about it. The most dangerous thing in the world was talking to the one who was mad at him. Arnav was already irritated with him for being his wife's lawyer. He thought he was the one who gave ideas to Nandhini. He sighed. However, he had to talk to Arnav. he had no choice. He thought about what to do. It would not be wise to get into this issue directly.
Taking his mobile, he dialled Arnav. As he thought, Arnav got irritated to see his number.
"What?" his voice let out aggravation.
"Nandhini madam, decide something about your issue. She needs to talk to you. Come to the office room... Please..." he disconnected the call.
Arnav frowned. Did Nandhini decide? So soon? What did she decide? He headed to her office to know her decision.
Aman went to Nandhini's office room, before Arnav reached. She saw him and raised her brows questioningly.
"ASR is coming. please tell him your decision."
"Why are you here if I do that?"
"Madam, you should understand one thing. I have been handling your official issues initially. I have no problem doing that. But, this is your personal matter. If I talk to Arnav about it, he may doubt me because no wife would be so generous as to send a girl to her husband. So, please initiate... I will take care of the rest."
They saw Arnav entering the office.
"What do you want to talk to me?" he asked rigidly.
"I understood your need..."
"Is it?" he asked mockingly.
"Yes, it's justified if you need someone to let out your STRESS mentally and physically... so, I decided something..."
Arnav frowned. He expected her to discuss their divorce, but it didn't seem that way.
"I have no problem in sending girls to you every day..."
Arnav was taken aback.
"Whaaaat? What did you say?"
"What you heard is right. I'm not interested in family and relationships. I just can't. At the same time, I can't ignore your feelings..."
"Feelings, my foot... what do you think of me? Haan? Do you think I'm a rogue to sleep with a different woman every day? My parents didn't raise me that way. It's about feelings. A woman like you can't understand that."
"What's your problem if I haven't?"
"Yeah, you don't have a problem with anything. I'm talking about a family, love, emotions... I'm not talking about sleeping with a woman but having a family, you idiot..." he yelled.
"I can't do that..."
"Who asked you to do that? I understood your disinterest on the same day when you didn't come to our room and went to the business conference without a note."
"Past is past... I'm talking about the present. Ok, you are a gentleman. Your parents raised you in a good way. So, you won't be sleeping with many girls. Ok... then sleep with one girl. You can get a child through her, but for the world, I will be the mother of the child. Instead of arranging a Surrogate mother to get a child, directly sleep with a girl and get a child. Both our problems will be solved..."
Arnav gritted his teeth. How easily did she talk it?
"Do you think I will sleep with a random girl to get a child? Who the hell are you to decide what I should do? I know how to manage my life. I'm going to divorce you, and that's final."
"Sorry, Arnav. I can't accept it."
"You don't have to accept it. we will meet in the court..."
"One minute, Arnav..."
Arnav didn't stop but continued walking.
"Don't you want your father to be alive?" She asked, and Arnav looked at her in shock.
"Accept my offer and save your father..."
Arnav tried to hold her neck. Her bodyguards came in between them and held him on either side. One of them took the gun and pointed it at him. Arnav fisted his fingers and could do nothing.
"Your father lives alone. My guards are guarding him. Don't underestimate me. Poor him, he has no one other than you," she said.
Arnav seethed in anger.
"Aman, find a suitable virgin girl..." Nandhini said, smirking at Arnav, who gritted his teeth.
"See, how much I think of your FEELINGS..." She said sarcastically.
"Let's go, Natasha. We are getting late to the conference." She headed out.
Natasha followed her, taking a file with her guards.
Arnav glared at Aman Mathur, who gulped down.
To be continued...
