Three weeks, it's been three weeks since he's been taken.
Bryan was miserable, he woke up and instantly wanted to curl into a ball, which he did. He knew he had gotten sick in the middle of the night, and whenever he gets sick it's usually pretty bad.
Bryan whined as his stomach churned and while he wanted to throw up, he couldn't because he was still gagged. Instead he curled into a tighter ball and screwed his eyes shut.
When Rian walked into the area they were keeping Bryan, he frowned as soon as he saw his younger half-brother. He immediately walked over, causing Bryan to open one of his eyes and stare at Rian.
He kneeled next to him, making the fact that Bryan was pale quite obvious, before gently putting his hand on Bryan's forehead. Bryan flinched a bit at the contact, not expecting it, but relaxed once he realized it was cool.
Rian frowned, knowing Bryan had a fever and was ill. He took his hand away from Bryan's forehead, causing the dragon slayer to whine softly. Rian frowned and looked at him with worry.
''I'll be back in a moment...'' Rian walked off after he spoke, causing Bryan to whine and close his eye.
Rian returned a few minutes later with a few items and Brandeen in tow. Brandeen frowned at the sight of Bryan and looked at Rian.
Rian walked towards Bryan, causing the dragon slayer to open an eye and look at him, before placing down a bowl of water. He kneeled next to the dragon slayer and wet a face cloth with the cold water before gently placing it over Bryan's forehead.
Bryan shivered slightly before sighing in content, the coldness making him feel slightly better. Rian made Bryan sit up before pulling the dragon slayer into his lap. Bryan, while he usually would pull away or tense up, immediately cuddled into Rian.
Rian smiled softly before looking at Brandeen.
''Can you mix the herbs and get him a glass of water?'' Brandeen nodded and quickly walked off to get what he needed.
Rian pulled a bucket towards him and took the gag off of Bryan's mouth. Bryan let out a sigh of relief when the gag came off, only to gag when he felt himself about to throw up. Rian instantly handed Bryan the bucket, who grabbed it as soon as he could before throwing up into it.
Rian gently rubbed Bryan's back, only moving the bucket away when Bryan finished. Once Bryan finished, he yawned and cuddled into Rian's chest before falling asleep. Rian smiled softly and gently removed the cloth to see if it was still cold.
After about half an hour, Brandeen finished mixing the herbs into a paste before he came back and smiled softly when he saw Bryan was asleep. Rian looked up at him and smiled, seeing that Brandeen had a cup of water and finished mixing the herbs.
Rian gently nudged Bryan, who cracked an eye open and whined softly. Rian smiled softly at him, speaking in a soft voice as to not make Bryan's head hurt.
''Time to wake up, you need to drink some water and take some medicine to make you feel better...'' Bryan whined softly but nodded as Rian sst him up.
Brandeen kneeled down infront of the two and held the cup up to Bryan's mouth. Bryan began to take small sips, unable to drink much of the water at once. By the time he stopped drinking the water, Brandeen managed to get most of it into him.
After that, Brandeen fed Bryan the paste that he made using different types of herbs. It was more difficult than getting Bryan to drink water, but he did manage to get Bryan to eat all of it. Once he finished eating, Bryan almost instantly fell asleep, which was supposed to happen because Brandeen put in an herb that makes you sleepy.
Brandeen and Rian smiled before Brandeen walked off, returning a minute later with a blanket. Rian smiled and took Bryan off of his lap while Brandeen wrapped the blanket around the dragon slayer. Bryan instantly cuddled into the blanket while Rian laid him down on the ground before walking over to Brandeen.
The two left the area where Bryan was, before Brandeen turned to Rian.
''You better go wash yourself so that you don't get sick.'' Rian was about to complain but Brandeen shot him a look, causing Rian to sigh and nod before walking to an area of the cave that the two use for bathing.
