chapter 13
This chapter might be shorter than some of the more recent chapters.
And just to make sure you guys know, some things in this book are based off of the rp that West and I did.
Bryan let out a sigh as he stared at the ceiling, having been with his half-brothers for two months, but that wasn't the full reason. The other reason is that, apparently, Eden threatened Bryan to make sure that Rian and Brandeen listened to him, and even might do what he threatened if they do listen.
So now, at least one of his two half-brothers are almost always guarding him to make sure Eden doesn't try anything. Right now was one of the few times he was alone and not being guarded, which he would usually spend thinking about his guild and how much he misses them.

The guild leaders were approaching a cave, a mission in their mind. Brandon was flying around the other day and thought he saw Ritchie's counterpart near the entrance, so he told the other guild leaders and decided to check it out.
Once they reached the entrance of the cave, Michael pulled them into the shadows and they entered the cave. They saw Ritchie and Brandon's counterparts eating something while talking, yet neither of them seemed happy.
''Brandeen... do we really have to do this? Bryan's finally warmed up to us, but this might make him scared of or dislike us again...'' The guild leaders stopped and listened to see what they're talking about.
''Sorry Rian, I don't want to attack Bryan's guild either... but we have to... he'll hurt Bryan if we don't... which means we would have kidnapped him for nothing, since we kidnapped him to keep him safe.'' Bri gasped quietly, Ritchie, Brandon, and Silver growled quietly, while Michael furrowed his eyebrows before whispering to the others.
''Ritchie, you and Bri go find Bryan and bring him to the protectors, Silver, Brandon, and I will capture the counterparts and bring them to the prison of Divinus Magia where we can question them.'' The guild leaders nodded and they stepped out of the shadows as Michael fired a shadow orb towards Rian and Brandeen's general direction, making sure to not hit them, while Bri and Ritchie quietly ran into the cave to find where Bryan was.
Rian and Brandeen both prepared their magic and turned around to face Michael, Brandon, and Silver. They immediately growled and got into a defensive stance as the fight began.
Ritchie and Bri snuck quietly through the cave, being quiet to avoid drawing any attention to themselves if anyone else were in the cave. Bri peaked around the corner of one of the doorways that didn't have doors, and smiled when her eyes landed on Bryan.
''Bryan!'' Bryan froze when he heard Bri whisper yell and immediately faced the doorway, only to smile when he saw Bri and Ritchie.
''Hey guys.'' Bri and Ritchie went over to Bryan and removed the chain and collar he was wearing before Bri pulled him into a hug.
Ritchie grabbed the two before storm blinking them to the med-bay in the protectors guildhall. Bri placed Bryan on the bed, to which he was about to complain about until Bri cut him off.
''This is just until we look you over and make sure you aren't injured.'' Bryan sighed before nodding as Ritchie walked out while Bri stayed.
After about a minute, Oliver and a tiny Clarity came skidding around the corner and hopping onto Bryan's bed before cuddling up to him, quickly followed by Kay who was in her fox form and turned human once she stopped at the bedside.
Jakey, Relena, and Lo Pho quickly entered and smiled upon seeing Bryan. Jakey quickly ran to the bed and grabbed Bryan's waist before pulling him into a kiss. Bryan meleted into it almost immediately.
They stayed like that for almost a minute before pulling away for air, smiling at eachother when they did. Bri and Lo Pho smiled before Bri spoke.
''Let's have Lo Pho make sure Bryan isn't injured, then we can leave the love birds and their pets alone.'' Jakey and Bryan blushed before nodding as Lo Pho walked up to Bryan.
Once Lo Pho confirmed that Bryan had no injuries, all of the protectors except for Jakey had left. Jakey laid next to Bryan on the bed and hugged him, Clarity and Oliver getting off of the bed and going towards the edge before curling up there.
''I missed you Bryan...'' Bryan smiled and yawned as he cuddled into Jakey.
''I missed you too Jakey...'' Jakey smiled and kissed Bryan, who fell asleep soon after.
Jakey smiled once more before he fell asleep himself, Clarity and Oliver falling asleep soon after.
Just incase you're wondering, this is not the end of the book, even though it would make an amazing ending.
There is still much more that's yet to come.
