chapter 14
It's been 3 months since Bryan has been rescued. He had no idea what happened to his brothers, and while he does miss them, he is happy to be back with his guild and Clarity, or just his guild at the moment.
Apparently, dragons shed their scales once or twice a year. The process takes a week and it makes them extremely aggressive while they're shedding. Because of this, Bri has made Clarity stay in a certain cave until it passes, just to make sure that Clarity doesn't do anything to Bryan.
Bryan had made himself some breakfast and was about to start eating it before heading down to the protectors guildhall, but stopped once he heard a knock on his door. He was confused because no one ever knocks this early, and was cautious when he went to the door.
Bryan opened the door and was confused when he saw that no one was outside, before deciding it was just someone playing a prank on him. He sighed and closed the door before going back to the table and eating his breakfast.
After finishing, he suddenly felt very tired and dizzy, causing him to collapse a few steps after he stood up. Bryan tried to push himself back up, but couldn't as his body began to shut down.
The last thing he saw before his vision went black was a pair of feet walking towards him.
The figure grinned when they saw that the potion they put in Bryan's food while Bryan checked the front door had worked. They gently picked him up and held him bridal style before pulling a letter out of his pocket and placing it on the couch. Once they made sure it was visible, they grinned before teleporting away.
They reappeared in a large bedroom and walked towards the bed before placing Bryan on it. They grinned once again before chaining Bryan's wrists to the bedposts and putting a metal collar on him. They gently caressed Bryan's cheek with their thumb before turning and leaving the room, closing and locking the door behind them.

Bryan let put a soft groan and woke up dazed, he was wondering what happened as he looked around and realized this wasn't anywhere familiar to him, only to remember what happened and began to panic.
He winced and looked at his wrists, seeing that they were chained up, causing him to whimper. He tried to activate his magic and hopefully melt them, only to yelp when the collar, he only realized he was wearing now, shocked him.
He looked around the room to see if there was anyway he could possibly escape, yet he only saw the door. He whimpered before tensing when he heard the door unlocking. The door opened and the one who kidnapped him walked in, a grin on their face. Bryan paled when he saw them and began to tremble.
''E-Eden?''
Sorry for short chapter but I wanted to leave you on a bit of a cliffhanger.
