RM

"I'm going to give SHAGUN to Khushi tomorrow morning," Anjali said while having lunch.

All of them looked at her.

"I believe you are Chotte's well-wishers. If it is true, you too join me" Anjali said.

"What do you think of us, Anjali? Don't we want Chotte's recovery?" Nani asked.

Before Anjali said anything,

"We just not fine with his marriage with Khushi," Lavanya said.

"Khushi agreed"

"She would have been forced to..."

"It's our Chotte's luck... (Anjali gulped down.) I believe so..."

"I don't know what made you believe so," Shyam asked.

"Do you remember, Nani, we discussed with our Panditji about Chotte's horoscope once..."

Nani nodded yes.

"As per Chotte's Horoscope, he will get married at the age of twenty-eight"

Nani was silent as she too knew about it.

"If the wedding doesn't happen at the age of twenty-eight, his marriage will never happen. We knew he is stepping into twenty-nine the next month"

Nani nodded yes.

"Our Pandit said his wedding will not be like a normal wedding. I didn't understand the meaning than" Nani said.

"He said nothing when I asked him that day. Now, I understand. Our Panditji should have known Chotte's miserable future... that's why he should have hinted to us"

"Rani Sahiba, horoscopes are just Myth..."

"Let it be... As per the Panditji's statement, Chotte's wedding is not going to be a normal one. You can't deny it. He said, if the marriage doesn't happen at the age of twenty-eight, Chotte will never get married. What if the hidden meaning of his statement is, 'he will never get cured if he doesn't get married at twenty-eight?' how could I let it happen?" she asked.

Shyam gulped down.

"Everything is falling in its right place, then what's your problem?"

"I don't know how you think a marriage can change a mental patient" Shyam sighed.

"How did you think, Chotte will lose interest in women if you bring a woman to RM?" Anjali threw an arrow.

"I just suggested..."

"Likewise, this is my suggestion"

"But Khushi..."

"Khushi?"

"She has life"

"I'm not stealing her life"

"You are... indirectly..."

"I don't care whether you are coming to GH or not. This marriage will happen. Tomorrow morning is Shagun"

"Ok... but, are these rituals necessary? Because Arnav could sense nothing"

"But, Khushi could sense everything... she is in her full sense. She knows what's happening in her life. That's what is important here. Khushi should feel it in every step of this wedding that Chotte is her husband. The day I fixed the marriage is an auspicious day that comes once in hundred years. I believe Chotte will be happy with Khushi..." Anjali said emotionally.

"We know about Arnav's condition. How will you make him marry her? do you think he will tie the mangal sutra around her neck?"

"We will have to make him do that."

"How could we?"

"How are you making him take bath?" She questioned him.

Shyam got stuck.

"Do the same... make him semiconscious. We will make him tie mangal sutra on Khushi's neck"

Shyam sighed.

Nani was listening to Anjali and Shyam's conversation silently. It seems she had planned everything about the wedding well.

"We WERE not fine with the wedding, it doesn't mean we won't participate in it. We also want Chotte's recovery. You should understand that" Nani said.

Anjali was silent.

"Tomorrow morning, we are going to GH," Nani said.

Anjali nodded ok, looking at Lavanya.

"I will also come... however I will have to face Khushi," Lavanya said and left the place.

Anjali sighed.

"She will be alright," Nani said.

Anjali nodded hopefully.

GH

Garima was preparing snacks for Anjali. She got fresh after finishing the work. Khushi was watching Garima's DANCE silently... after all, the choreographer of Garima's dance was MONEY. The role-play of money in Khushi's life was so vast. She never knew she too had VALUE until she met Raizadas. Her value became a core only after stepping inside RM. She didn't know her life will turn upside down by a simple BOOK. The book became a CHAPTER in her life. She smiled painfully.

Garima wondered, seeing her sitting in the living room. Khushi had started locking herself in her room and almost stopped talking to Garima.

That's when the landline of GH rang. Before Garima received it, Khushi attended it.

"Hello..."

"Khushi, the papers are ready. I'm coming to GH" Sara said.

"Haan, aunty... I'm at home only. Please come"

Khushi disconnected the call. Garima understood why Khushi was in the living room. Within a few minutes, Sara reached GH. She handed the documents to Khushi. Taking it from Sara, Khushi read it taking time. After finishing reading, she nodded ok, looking at Sara.

"I'm leaving..." Sara said.

"Have something, aunty"

"No, beta...I don't want anything..." she said looking at Garima and left GH.

Khushi went to her room with the papers.

A few minutes later, Khushi opened the room door hearing a knock. She saw Lavanya standing at her doorstep. As Khushi didn't expect her, she didn't know how to react. Lavanya entered the room and locked it from inside.

"Khushi..."

"Stop apologizing, Lavanya. There is nothing to be apologized" Khushi said.

"Because of me, your life became problematic..."

"Because of you? How?"

"I should not have forgotten the book at home. I should not have taken you to my home. And..."

"It would have happened in another way even though you hadn't have forgotten the book, even though you had not have taken me to RM"

Lavanya looked at her bewildered.

"Because this is my fate... you can't change it" Khushi said

"I know you are upset..."

"I'm not upset with YOU..."

"But, Khushi..."

"Listen to me, Lavanya. I'm already tired and trying to be strong. Please don't make me more tired by pleading..."

Lavanya hugged her tightly.

"I promise, Khushi. I will be there for you no matter who is against you. I will stand for you"

Khushi smiled. These sisters were the same. They love their brother... respect others... want their family's betterment... and also guilty... how sweet they were!

"Trust me..." she broke the hug.

"I trust you," Khushi said.

Lavanya touched Khushi's cheek softly.

"I wish my brother will get cured soon" a lonely tear slipped from her eye.

Khushi gulped down hard. She remembered what Sara said about Arnav. He won't remember anything if he got his memory back. He will forget Khushi. The wedding will be a mutual one, not a legal one.

Garima came to Khushi's room with a snack plate. Lavanya smiled at her formally.

"I'm happy, you came to our house when I cooked all this. Taste it, beta"

"Thanks, aunty"

Lavanya took the plate from her hand.

"Eat it... ask me if you want more"

Lavanya nodded ok.

At the same time, they heard a calling bell sound.

"I think your sister came" Garima rushed out happily.

Her guess was right. It was Anjali. Garima's face shrank, seeing a single bag in her hand. Composing herself,

"Come in, beta..." she welcomed.

Anjali entered in and got stuck, seeing Lavanya there. Anjali smiled at Khushi.

"You said you will bring money..." Garima asked grinning.

"Here it is..." Anjali kept the bag on the table.

Garima opened the zip of the bag and saw two thousand Rupee bundles.

"Oh... you brought two thousand Rupee... I thought you will bring hundred Rupee bundles" she was about to take the bag,

Khushi stopped her.

"Wait..."

All of them looked at her.

"Before touching the money, you and your son have to sign this document"

"What document?" Anjali asked whereas Lavanya looked at her confusingly.

"We will talk later, Khushi..."

Cutting her,

"No... now..."

"But, Swaraj is not at home"

"Call him," Khushi said sternly.

Anjali stood silently as she didn't know whether she should talk or not because it was Khushi who asked for their sign.

"He will spend the money extravagantly..." Garima said.

"So?" Khushi asked.

"Don't you know he is a drunkard?"

"So?"

"He will waste all the money..."

"So?"

Garima gritted her teeth as she could not talk in front of Arnav's sisters.

"You would have thought of protecting this money when you asked for it. So, protect it, using your mastermind"

"Ok... give me the papers" Garima snatched it from Khushi's hand and read it.

*This is the first and last amount I, Garima, and my son, Swaraj are getting from Raizadas. From here on, we won't disturb Raizadas for money or any other help. If we ask them for anything, they can take legal action against us. There won't be any connection between us and Raizadas*

Garima glared at Khushi who didn't give heed to it.

"May I know what the document is about?" Anjali asked hesitatingly.

Garima forwards it to Anjali as there was nothing to hide anymore.

Anjali read it and Lavanya also peeped into it. No need to say, they were dumbfounded.

"This is not necessary, Khushi," Anjali said.

"I'm sorry, Anjaliji... this is not for you... but to maintain my RESPECT" Khushi said sternly.

"I have no problem signing the papers," Garima said that, making the sisters speechless.

"Could you do me a favor?" Garima asked.

"Tell me, aunty" - Anjali

"Please take eighty lakhs from this bag. I will get it from you later"

Anjali nodded ok.

"Wait I will bring a bag" Garima went to the room and came with a bag.

Anjali arranged the money in the bag and gave it to Khushi.

"Keep it in your room. You can give it to aunty later"

Khushi was about to deny it, but Anjali stopped her by stopping her palm.

"For me, Khushiji..."

Khushi nodded ok and took the bag. Garima called Swaraj.

"Anjali is here to give us money"

"Really?"

"come fast"

"Yeah. Started..." he disconnected the call.

*I have been struggling for money to buy a bottle... my luck favored me* Swaraj started the bike.

Within half an hour, he reached GH. He grinned at the women in front of him.

"Namaste, jee..." he said unctuously.

His eyes wandered here and there for the money. His eyes halted on the bag that was on the couch.

"Khushi wants us to sign the documents before getting money," Garima said.

"Oh, sure..." he said looking at the money.

Taking the document, he signed without even reading it. Garima also signed it. Khushi swallowed the gland that was choking in her throat. She was SOLD out.
