Part 34 Arnav's plan

"I reached a new level in business. Thanks..." he kissed Khushi's forehead, without caring about the people around them, making Khushi dumbfounded.

He smiled at her proudly. Khushi looked at people who were lost in their own thoughts. It was Dadi who came out of the thoughts first.

"What's the matter, Arnav?" she asked.

"I got unimaginable profit in my business, Dadi. My Gold shares rose drastically and touched peaks..." he said excitedly.

"Is it?" Dadi was literally happy.

"Yeah... see, you people were so worried that we might face unluck after my marriage. See, right after Khushi stepped into my life, I received the huge profit..."

"Congratulations, Arnav", Sudhakar wished.

"Thank you, Chachaji, but you should wish Khushi who brought luck to my life." He said, looking at Sanjana, who was still in shock.

Was she like, did Arnav invest in GOLD? When did it happen?

Yes, Arnav invested in Gold, which never declined.

"When did you invest in Gold? How did you get an idea?" Dadi asked curiously. She wanted others to know Arnav's skills.

"I was full set to start a new business after my master's. I saved money for that while working at the share agency. But my mind changed when my life changed." He said, looking at Khushi, who understood what change he was talking about. She left him. That made him lose interest in business.

"I thought of investing the money in the share market, which was highly risky. So, I thought about the risk-free product that was always GOLD. So, I invested in it and WAITED. Today, I'm tasting the fruit..." he smiled, looking at Khushi with a double meaning.

Khushi was in deep thought. Why was he holding her back in front of his family? Was that because they were in front of his family?

Finishing lunch, Arnav headed to his room while dialling Aman. He received the call.

"Hi, ASR..."

"Aman, this is the right time to implement our plan..." he said in a low tone.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, Dhruv is back. I don't want him to be in RM."

"But, he will definitely get bail, giving his broken bones as a reason."

"It doesn't matter. Once, he was arrested, Khushi would not trust him, but would start doubting him."

"That makes sense..."

"Yup, do it..."

"Done..."

Aman disconnected the call and looked at his man.

"You can start what we planned, Ram."

Ram nodded, then started for the bungalow area where Shashi was kept.

.......

Khushi came to their room and locked the door. Arnav smiled at her.

"When did you invest money in Gold?" she questioned.

"When you left me..."

"So, you did that two years ago..."

Arnav shrugged his shoulders.

"You started doing that two years ago. The more I know, the more the value of the Gold never decreases. Then why are you giving me the credit for your profit?"

"Do you have any problem if I do that?" he asked her smilingly.

"Don't be blind... people may doubt your ability..."

"Who cares? You are talking as if I'm working to get people's trust..." he chuckled.

"If you don't care about people's trust, why are you hell bend in lifting me in your family's eyes?"

"It's because you are my WIFE. I can't let anyone raise their finger at you for any reason. Even though you bring bad luck to me, it's my problem. Why should they mind about it?"

Khushi was dumbfounded. Would he do such things because he could not let them raise their finger at her?

"They want to show how wrong I am in my choice. So, it's my responsibility to show them how right my choice is. When it's about YOU, my dear, WIFE, I don't care about anything because I attained you after a big struggle..."

"You have not attained me yet..." she said, reading his expression.

"You are in my room. You have a mangal sutra tied by me in your neck... still, will you say I don't?" he raised his brows with a proud smile.

She kept her hands on her hips with attitude.

"If you are talking about a physical relationship... I least care about it..."

Khushi shrank her eyes, wondering.

"I would rather mind about it than winning your heart..."

She was astonished. What was he up to?

At the same time, Arnav received a message on his mobile, and his face changed. It was NK's message. He turned opposite Khushi and read the message.

'CALL ME WHEN YOU ARE ALONE.'

Though Arnav had been waiting for his message, he grew tense upon seeing it.

Fortunately, Khushi didn't notice his facial expression. He walked out with his mobile to make an urgent call. He stopped at the doorstep and looked at Khushi.

"You don't have to REGRET anything. I got married to you. It's more than enough for me. So, feel free..." saying, he left the room.

Khushi stood in confusion. What was he talking about? REGRET? Would she regret anything? For what? Would he do something to prove his innocence? Could he? The confidence he had in his face told her so. Would she be wrong in judging him? That made her nervous. However, Arnav told her not to regret. She already started because she was a rusher, not an arrogant person.

Arnav came to the garden and dialled NK, who was in Tamil Nadu with Shashi. NK received the call.

"Yeah..." he avoided telling his name.

"Nannav, the doctors checked Uncle Shashi and did the necessary tests. There is a blood clot in his brain. They agreed to operate on him, and I found HOPE on their faces. His operation will be held tonight."

"That's great..."

"We should deposit ten lakhs in advance. I already talked to Aman, and he paid the amount."

"Is it? But he didn't tell me anything."

"I just called him after sending you the message. Of course, Aman knew you had no reason to delay paying money. After all, you want him to cure. So, he took an immediate step."

Arnav smiled. Yes, he wanted Shashi to cure, who was the only trump card that could change his relationship with Khushi.

"That's great..."

"I'm so excited to see Shashi gaining his memory," NK said.

Arnav became nervous. He knew the risks. It was not certain that he would recover. After all, it was about his brain. The operation results might not be successful. He didn't know what was written in his fate. He managed himself. Khushi was his lucky Angel. So, the result would also be in his favour. He believed. Even though it was not in his favour, Dhruv was there to prove himself.

"Update me..."

"Sure, Nananv..." NK disconnected the call.

Arnav huffed in relief. However, the doctor's team agreed to operate on Shashi. As of now, it was enough to be relieved.

........

The bungalow area

Aman's men stood in front of the bungalow, looking at his watch as if he was waiting for someone. The area people looked at him and gestured something within. Ram came to the shop across the street. The shopkeeper became alert.

"What do you want, sir?" he asked.

"Give me a soda..."

The shopkeeper passed a bottle. Ram drank it, looking at the bungalow.

"What are you looking for, sir?" he tried to get information from Ram.

"I wanted a house for rent. My friend suggested this bungalow to me. He said two friends were staying here and would meet me here today. I'm waiting for them."

"Are they coming here to meet you?"

"Yes..."

He took his noble and dialled Aman. He received the call.

"Are you coming or not?" he asked as if he was talking to Dhruv's men.

"Yeah, started..." Aman smiled.

"Thank God..." Ram disconnected the call, looking at the shopkeeper and said,

"They already started..." he kept the empty bottle and paid for the soda.

"Thank you..." He walked away.

The shopkeeper waited until he left. He immediately called the inspector investigating the case to inform him of their arrival.

To be continued...
