- Eunbyul's POV -
Soonyoung, Jihoon, and I were in a cafe near Aunty Yae's, drinking some refreshing beverages.
It was awkward as hell.
We didn't know what to say to each other. I was the one who asked these two to accompany me, and yet now I was the one who sat there with nothing but my phone in my hands.
I was reading twitter memes.
After a while, I noticed them glancing at each other trying to give some kind of message.
They looked hilarious, I couldn't hold back my laughter.
"You know," I spoke when seeing them so confused, "You can just casually talk to each other."
"But, er... It's kinda awkward..." Soonyoung scratched his head with a small pout.
As if I couldn't see the awkwardness.
We sat there doing pretty much nothing than finishing our drinks. No one was talking and it was slowly killing me inside.
All of a sudden, a young boy, I could tell he was way younger than me despite his height, walked up to us and greeted the boys.
And I never saw them happier.
"Jihoon hyung, Soonyoung hyung! It's been so long! How are you~" He gave them a bright smile.
"Samuel! What a coincident, we're doing great," Soonyoung happily chirped, wrapping his arm around the boy's shoulder.
Samuel? His name sounds familiar...
He's really handsome like wow... His visual is no joke oh my cheese and crackers he's hot- Wait what am I thinking!?
His smile looked so innocent and simple but still, it radiated.
He glanced at me and turned to ask Jihoon, "Who is this noona?"
My lord, he called me noona-
"She's Eunbyul," Jihoon smiled and gave him some kind of signal.
And I guessed Samuel understood what he was trying to say. His eyes widen and he gasped dramatically, leaving me dumbfounded and totally clueless.
"You're the one who wrote my debut song 'Sixteen'???" He covered his mouth in shock.
To be honest, I was shocked too.
That was a project that Jihoon told me to test out, he said it wasn't very important so I just made it fun and catchy, something I thought that would suit a teenage boy as I imagined.
And now I know it was a debuting song for Samuel, I just want to kill Jihoon in one way or another.
"Ah... yes. Well, kinda," I rubbed my neck while giving Jihoon a glare.
I moved my hand at him, I am going to kill you Lee Jihoon.
Jihoon smiled nervously as Samuel was still shocked.
"Woah! I love that song so much the minute I heard it! But all I knew about the composer from Jihoon hyung was that her name was Eunbyul," he was smiling cheerfully, giving me thumbs up.
He was so cute I just wanted to give him a hug!!!
"Oh Sam," Soonyoung spoke up, "How are you lately?"
His face changed almost immediately, his smile was replaced by a frown. But he forced a smile again, "Just some issues here and there, but I'm sure I'll be fine so don't worry hyung!"
Again, I wanted to hug him so bad. He looked happy but I could tell he wasn't. He was hurting inside...
"Hey Samuel," I said after a minute of silence, "If there's any trouble, you still have a lot of people right beside you. So be strong, okay?"
I gave him a reassuring smile, and forcefully, he smiled back, "Thank you noona."
"And if you want, Jihoon and I will write you a new song," I giggled as he cheered joyfully.
"Please do noona!" He clapped.
He left soon after when his phone rang.
Us three also went home. On the way back, the two boys were being so awkward and quiet.
Soonyoung's voice shocked me at one point, "Did you know Samuel before?"
"No, I just met him," I answered shortly.
But when it fell silent again, I asked Soonyoung, "Why did you ask?"
He chuckled lightly, "The way you talked and reassured him sounded as if you've known him for years."
I smiled at that. I guess we have a bond, maybe even before we were born.
