6:17am.
It was chaos.
Hyerim held out a big pan and a spatula. She walked to every boy's room to wake them up, of course, she left out the girl's room with Eunbyul in it, otherwise, it would ruin the whole surprise.
The girls already woke up and went downstairs to the living room. Hana stayed in their room so they wouldn't cause any suspicions.
And to everyone's surprise, Jihoon was the first one to get up among the boys.
"Guess who's excited," Mingyu whispered to Seokmin. The two silently laughed before gathering in the living room to come up with major birthday plans.
"We need a place that's big enough to throw the whole party," Hyerim walked around the half-asleep boys like some kind of boss, "Any suggestions?"
"We could rent a cafe and decorate there?" Minghao smiled.
"That'll take too much time and money, I'm afraid we couldn't have it done in time," Mihae shook her head.
"The beach?" Joshua suggested.
"Too far away," Yeonha shrugged.
"A cinema? We can play a video for her there," Wonwoo said, hoping they'd like the idea.
"That would take a lot of time to do the whole filming thing, but great idea Wonwoo," Yeonha gave him a thumbs up, making the boy turn away blushing.
Soonyoung was silently on his phone before he talked about his idea, "There's a pool behind Auntie's house? How about there?"
They all agreed to this idea, besides, Eunbyul loves swimming. Some even added more ideas to the pool party.
Jihoon stood up all of a sudden, and he ran up to his room to fetch his laptop. Everyone looked at him in confusion.
When Jihoon came down on the stairs, he almost tripped due to excitement. The others tried so hard to hold back their laughs.
"We had a draft song, I'm pretty sure I could finish it today and send it to your phones. We could all perform to her that song!" Jihoon smiled as everyone cheered for his idea.
Aunty Yae got down the stairs and was surprised to see them all so hyped up so early, "What are you all doing?"
"Today's the big day auntie~" Mihae held her hands jumping excitedly.
Of course, Auntie Yae understood immediately as it was also the reason she woke up early.
She nodded with a bright smile, "I'm on cake duty! Anyone with me?"
Mingyu raised his arm and grinned when Auntie Yae patted his shoulder before she went away to do her washing up.
Hyerim once again stood up banging the spatula to the pan. They're lucky Eunbyul's a very heavy sleeper.
"Jun, Myungho, you two along with Hana will go to the mall with her, distract her until at least 4. Put on your air pods at all times and report to us whatever's happening. Meet us back here at 4:30p.m.," Hyerim pointed the spatula at the two boys. Minghao and Jun did a small salute before getting changed.
Yeonha stood up and held Wonwoo's wrist all of a sudden, causing him to blush, "Wonwoo and I will buy the pool stuff. Ooh and maybe I could get a new swimsuit too."
Wonwoo went red once he heard that. He imagined Yeonha in a swimsuit. And he blushed even harder.
Yeonha noticed his red cheeks, she asked him worriedly, "Hey, you okay?"
Wonwoo only replied with a nod. How can these girls get more clueless?
"Seokmin, Seungkwan, Chan, and Vernon, you four are on snack duty," Mihae added, smiling from ear to ear.
"Then what'll you do, Mihae?" Mingyu looked at her.
"I'll stay here to clean the pool place up," She smiled to him sheepishly. She looked at Soonyoung, "Want to help me, Soonyoung?"
"Meh, sure," he shrugged.
"Seungcheol, Jeonghan, Joshua, you three are going with me to do some shopping for decor," Hyerim smirked, her mind full of ideas for decorations.
They all placed their hands in a circle and yelled "Fighting!" before readying themselves for the party.

"Unnie, wakie wakie~" Hana whispered into Eunbyul's ear.
But being the heavy sleeper she is, Eunbyul didn't move a muscle.
Hana giggled as she took a photo of Eunbyul and sent it into the new group chat.

Eunbyul finally woke up after Hana's fifth attempt.
"Why am I awake at 8 am again?" Eunbyul whined with half-opened eyes.
"Jun and Minghao oppa wanted to take us to the mall," Hana explained trying to pick out an outfit for the both of them.
But Hana was sort of worried for their plan so she decided to ask, "Unnie, what day is it today?"
And to her surprise, Eunbyul had no clue, "Uh... it's Friday? You know you can look at the calendar right next to you."
Hana smiled to herself, doing a victory dance inside her mind, "Oh I didn't see it there. Anyways you should be changing now, the oppas are waiting downstairs."
Eunbyul rolled her eyes in defeat and ran into the bathroom.
Hana took out her phone and texted the others.
@ 8:23 a.m.

"Hana, have you seen my shower cap?" Eunbyul's voice almost made Hana drop her phone.
"Uh... It's in the cabin I think?" Hana regained her calm and answered.
"Thanks!"
[10 minutes later...]
"Tell me, why am I dressed like this?" Eunbyul rubbed her temples as she looked at Hana.
"It's freezing out so I gave you the sweater, the purse is to put your stuff in-" Hana was explaining in an a-matter-of-fact way when she was cut off.
"No, I mean why am I wearing a skirt," Eunbyul pointed to her colorful pencil skirt, probably annoyed by how it felt around her thighs.
"Pftt oh don't act like you've never worn a skirt before," Hana jokingly said while fixing her own outfit, looking in the mirror.
"But this IS my first time wearing a skirt."
"Holly fuck," Hana cursed out loud, turning her head towards Eunbyul, raising her eyebrow.
Hana looked at her weirdly, "Are you serious?"
"Yes," Eunbyul answered shortly.
'Okay, it's her birthday, I shouldn't be judging,' Hana thought and gave Eunbyul a smile, "We should go downstairs, Jun and Minghao oppa are waiting~"
The birthday girl was dragged downstairs before even saying anything. But she was still naive and innocent enough to not suspect a single thing.
Auntie Yae spotted them and signaled Mingyu to go hide the cake batter in the fridge.
"Morning, Diamond," Mingyu smiled at Eunbyul as if nothing happened.
"Hi Gyu," Eunbyul looked around the house and noticed there weren't any noises, "Where is everyone?"
"Huh, you noticed they're gone?" Mingyu chuckled.
"Usually, I'd hear BooSeokSoon's singing all over the place to wake everyone up," she giggled.
Mingyu shrugged, "Heard that they went around the place to know New York better. Well, some of them did. Jihoon stayed home to finish a really important project, best not disturb him."
Eunbyul nodded before asking Mingyu to join her for some shopping at the mall.
"Nah, I'm helping Auntie Yae with some chores," Mingyu replied, "Don't worry about me, go have a great time."
"Okay then, I'll get going now," Eunbyul waved him goodbye before going towards the front door to see two handsome guys waiting for her.
Hana held Eunbyul's arm excitedly, "Let's go unnie~"
At the mall, surprisingly, it wasn't as crowded as they thought it would be.
The four of them went into a cafe inside the mall to get some light breakfast before they went shopping.
While in the cafe, Eunbyul got a really great shot of Minghao and decided to post it on Instagram.

After their short break in the cafe, they dragged Eunbyul into a shop.
They stacked all types of things in a basket at handed them to Eunbyul so she could try them on. She tumbled once the basket got contact with her, it was so heavy!
Whenever she got out of the changing room to show them her outfit, she was showered with compliments.
"How come you've never rocked a skirt with heels?! You look badass!" Jun grinned.
"Later we're gonna get her some accessories and some makeup," Minghao chirped happily.
Eunbyul got chills just thinking about wearing makeup.
They went into many stores and got a lot of things, of course, the two boys were carrying them.
And while in another cute store, Hana took a photo with Eunbyul and posted it on Instagram.
