Haven't handlettered anything in a while. So today I did something quick and hence it's kind of imperfect. But I still like it.
It's a quote from one of my favourite instagram pages by a writer called Aru Barzak. I don't know if that's their real name or not. Sadly there haven't been any posts since last March.
This is a quote I often remember when I feel overwhelmed by life. You know those times, when you feel like you're being closed in on all sides by huge walls that seem to moving closer and closer and the space between shrinking until you're trapped. You're feeling claustrophobic and you cannot breathe... You know life gets that way sometimes right? You feel helpless. Small. Tiny.
And then you realize that you're the creation of a Majestic Great God, Allah عز وجل ❤
And then you know that you'll be saved no matter what, so long as your faith is unwavering in the most horrible of times and your Sabr is herculean. Because Allah is with you.
And He has promised that He is always near.
