59 Horrified Khushi
Part 59 Horrified Khushi
Arnav was horrified to see the GUN with SILVER BULLETS. Was Shashi planning to kill him? Arnav thought Shashi wanted to reveal his real identity to make Khushi reconsider her decision to marry him, but Shashi was crueler than he thought.
Arnav could not believe Shashi would think of killing him. He was making a very wrong move. Arnav thought Shashi understood Khushi very well but it seemed he was wrong. He would not have done this to him if he had understood Khushi. Didn't Shashi know how deep Khushi's love for him was? Khushi would never forgive Shashi if she got to know what he did to him.
"How did the SP sir get this gun?" One of the policemen asked.
"Aman sir got this gun from the wolf man's cave"
"Is it? How did you know?"
"Aman sir mentioned it in the case file. I read it yesterday. That was when I got to know that. This morning Shashi sir gave it to me while handing the case to me"
Arnav understood how Shashi got it. But, why did the wolf man have it when he sacrificed his life for the Wolves? Did he think HE would attack him?
Arnav knew this day would be the LAST. Shashi would lose her daughter forever. How could he think of doing this after she said she would kill herself if she didn't get him? Didn't he have sense? He didn't know what would be Khushi's condition. He felt helpless, angry, disappointed, whatnot.
On the other side
Arvind came to Arnav's college. He already called the principal and told him that Arnav was missing. As Aranv was going to be the son-in-law of the SP, the principal gave his best to find Arnav.
He showed the CCTV footage of the parking lot to Arvind. Arvind was confused as the men who spoke to Arnav were policemen. He saw them taking Arnav with them in the car.
"Who are they, Mr. Raizada?" the principal asked.
"I will find it, please send me the footage, sir" he didn't say they were cops. He didn't want to confuse him as was also confused.
The principal sent the CCTV footage to Arvind's mobile number.
"Thank you, sir"
Arvind thanked the principal and rushed out. The first thing he did was, send the CCTV footage to Khushi.
Khushi was pacing in her room restlessly. She heard the beep sound and saw the video. She was confused as she didn't know who they were. She called Arvind but his phone was engaged.
Arvind called someone. The call was attended.
"Hello sir,"
"Murugan, where is Vinoth?" Arvind asked.
"sir, he went to complete a task given by SP sir," Murugan said.
"What task did SP sir give him?"
"He didn't say that sir. He said he himself didn't know that"
"What do you mean?" Arvind frowned.
"Yes, sir, Vishva was the team head. Four officers are in the team including Vinoth"
"Oh... Do you know where are they?"
"I didn't see any of them today sir..."
"Oh.. "
"Anything serious sir?"
"Arnav is missing. His bike is in his college parking lot. We checked the CCTV footage and saw Vinoth taking him with him"
"Sir, if it is so, you can ask SP, sir. He might have known about his whereabouts because Vinoth is also in his team"
"What team?"
"I don't know sir, Vinoth said, SP sir formed a new team today and Vinoth is part of it"
"Ok..." Arvind disconcerted the call and dialled Shashi's number and heard an engaged tone as Shashi blocked his number already.
"What happened?" Ratna asked
"I don't know what to say," he said restlessly.
"Whatever... Tell me"
"Vinoth is SP sir's man"
"What do you mean?
"Yes. Ratna... I don't know what's happening"
Ratna thought for a while and asked,
"Did Shashi Bhai know the truth?"
Arvind gulped down hard not answering. He was also thinking the same. They didn't know what to do. That was when Arvind received a call from Khushi. Arvind hesitated to attend it. He didn't know, how Khushi would react to it.
"Whose call is that?" Ratna asked.
"Khushi"
"Attend it"
"What will I tell her?"
Ratna snatched the phone and attended to it.
"Aunty, did you get any information about Arnav?" She asked nervously.
"We checked the CCTV footage of your college parking lot. Somebody took him with them"
"Who?"
"Your father's men"
"Whaaaat?" Khushi was horrified.
"Yes, beta. We don't know why they took them. Today is a full moon day. The moon will rise after 6o' clock. We will have to find Arnav before that. Or else, the consequence will be worse"
Khushi gulped down hard.
"Could you please ask your father? We tried his number. His phone is busy..."
"I will talk to him Aunty" Khushi disconnected the call and dialed Shashi. His phone was on voice call. Khushi undoubtedly doubted Shashi. She didn't believe him. When it came to Khushi, he wouldn't mind doing anything. She knew that.
Without thinking, Khushi rushed out. She stopped an auto and went to the SP office to meet Shashi.
SP office
Cutting the auto meter, she ran to his cabin. Shashi saw her rushing. Taking his phone, he pretended to speak.
"How long should I be waiting for the report? I have been waiting to get the report since the meeting was over. Make it fast. I have to go home"
Khushi stood waiting for him to finish the call. She jerked as Shashi got a call on his mobile. He looked at Khushi shockingly who was more shocked.
"Oh... The call got disconnected and I didn't notice it" Shashi smiled.
As he didn't expect, Khushi snatched his phone and checked.
"Khushi... what's this...? Give my phone"
Khushi moved backward checking the phone. She glared at him as there was no incoming or outgoing call for the last few minutes. There was a message about her and Arvind's missed calls. Khushi looked at him dangerously.
"What's happening, Dad?"
"I just am waiting for a report"
"Where is Arnav?"
"Arnav? Where is he?"
"Stop your acting... where did your men take him?"
"My men? What are you talking about, Khushi?"
"Stop it Daaaad... where is Arnav?" she shouted.
"Khushi, behave... this is my office. If Arnav is missing, you should ask his parent instead of me"
"His parents already did what they had to... They found out the CCTV camera footage of our college parking lot... Your men took him from there. Whyyyyyy?"
Shashi was shocked. He didn't expect his men did the blunder.
"You are mistaken. There is no one called my man"
"Oh..." Khushi opened her mobile and showed the CCTV camera footage. She came out of his cabin and clapped.
The policemen in the SP office looked at her.
"Could you please come here"
As no one had the guts to ignore the SP's daughter, they came to her. She showed them the CCTV footage sent by Arvind to them. They saw and said,
"Vinodh, Vishva, Ajay, and Murthy..." one of them listed out their names.
"Who are they? Where are they?" Khushi asked.
'They are under a task. SP sir sent them somewhere to complete a task"
"What task?"
"I don't know..."
Someone came forward and said,
"I know... Vishva was talking about..."
"Stop it...." Shashi shouted.
Khushi looked at him angrily. She looked at the cope again and asked,
"Please tell me... what he was talking about?"
The man looked at Shashi who was glaring at him. Khushi looked at her surroundings. She rushed to the French window and climbed on it.
"If you don't tell me, I will jump off" she threatened.
The policemen looked at Shashi horrified.
"Tell me before I count three..."
"Khushi, stop making fun..." Shashi shouted.
Without giving heed to him,
"One..." she counted.
"Sir..." the policemen were scared.
"Two..."
"Khushiiii..."
"Three..."
"Maam. He talked about Werewolf. They went to outskirt town, Maam, please get down"
Khushi looked at Shashi gritting his teeth.
"Khushi listen to me..."
"You are a cheater... you betrayed me..." Khushi shouted.
"Khushi, I did that for your betterment..."
Khushi got down from the window panel and rushed out. Shashi ran to her and stopped her.
"Khushi, wait..."
Khushi didn't know where she got that power. She pushed Shashi with full force. He moved a few steps backward and looked at her shockingly.
"I hate you... you are not my father anymore. If anything happened to Arnav, I won't leave you. I will kill you for sure..." he yelled.
"Catch her..." Shashi shouted.
The policemen rounded her up. Khushi looked here and there. The policemen feared to go to her as she looked aggressive. One among them got the courage and came close to her to catch her. She shrugged his hand and removed the gun from his belt, in the blink of an eye, making all of them shocked. She pointed it at her forehead.
"Khushi, no..." Shashi shouted.
"Move away..." she ordered.
All of them moved a few steps back hurriedly.
She ran out of the office. Stopping an auto, she got in.
"Go..."
"Where do you want to go, madam?" The auto man asked.
"Do you know any lonely bungalow in the outskirt town?"
"There are many lonely buildings in the outskirt town, Madam"
"Have you ever seen any policemen in those buildings?"
The auto man nodded no. Khushi sighed. She didn't know what to do. She cried closing her face. The auto man didn't know why she cried.
"Madam, your father will help you if you ask him" It seemed he knew she was the daughter of the SP.
"Don't talk about him... he is a cheat... he backstabbed me..." She shouted and the auto man was taken aback.
Khushi wiped her face and sighed in relief, seeing Aman coming from the opposite side. She jumped out of the auto and rushed to him.
