Once We Found
The wanderer's steps shall fade away;
The past, the present, all astray;
Within the deep, a silent sound:
Eternal music once we found.
Beyond the storm, there'd be a place
With all the love and peace and grace.
We used to cherish one shared dream
And ran together in its gleam.
In deserts where our nails all bled
To find the prophet's fountainhead;
In forests where the sunlight failed,
We'd walk to where the truth was veiled.
Though sounds may disappear one day,
Though words may finally decay,
We kids, while ever trembling still,
Burst out the song that time can't kill.
Alone, I keep on walking straight
Toward that very place of fate
The everlasting song persists
Can we find ways among the mists?
Through all the sorrow, all the pain,
Until the end, we'll meet again?
The melody back in the day
Calls out to me and shows the way.
