Khushi nodded NO. Arnav sighed. She again nodded NO, pointing at herself making Arnav frown.
"You go Arnavji..." Khushi said making Arnav horrified and Purna stuck.
Taking the phone from his hand, Khushi spoke.
"Purna, Arnavji will come to your house. Don't worry" she disconnected the call.
Arnav was looking at her as if she was an alien.
"What are you doing, Khushi? I'm really not interested to go to her home"
"You have to help her Arnavji... After all, she calls you Bhaiyaji... is not she a sisterly figure to you?"
"Khushi, are you mocking me?"
"Nope... I just said what you said"
"Khushi, I don't want any misunderstanding between us in any matter"
"It's me who is sending you to her house... you can go and help her mother who is paralytically attacked"
"You too come with me"
"I won't"
"Then why are you sending me alone?"
"Are you scared?"
Arnav rolled his eyes.
"She would have made some other arrangements if you had dined..." Arnav said.
"She already called the ambulance and I'm sure... the ambulance would have reached her house as of now"
"Yet, do you want me to go?"
"Yup... and i know something too..."
"What?"
"When you go to her house, she will tell you, that the doctor in the ambulance treated her mother and she is fine now"
Arnav shrank his eyes.
"She will thank you and definitely give you something to drink or eat"
"Khushi what's the matter?"
"Go and check whether she does the same or not. Then decide whether you should trust me or not"
"Khushi, I trust you"
"You trust me but you are not suspecting Purna. I saw repentance in your eyes when she left the office"
"Khushi... try to understand..."
"It's you who should understand, Arnavji. You don't want any conflict between us... if you want it to happen, you should have FULL faith in my words and my instinct"
"Do you think I didn't?"
Khushi was silent.
"Khushi, I think this is an unwanted problem between us"
"Of course, it's unwanted... you will get to know that when you go to her house"
Arnav thought for a while.
"Ok... I will go... I will see whether she does the same as you said or not"
Khushi sighed.
Arnav left the house and drove towards Purna's house, thinking about what Khushi said. He didn't know whether those were only her prediction or something. Whatever, if Purna did what Khushi said, Purna was really up to something.
When Arnav was close to Purna's house, his phone beeped with a message. Arnav saw the message from a new number. He frowned, seeing the content of the message.
"DON'T DRINK OR EAT ANYTHING AT PURNA'S HOUSE"
Arnav became thoughtful. What was happening in his life? Was he getting trapped by someone? By whom? What was Purna's role in this? He so wanted to know the root cause of everything happening to him. He drove the car while making himself ready to handle the situation. He recalled what Khushi said. He decided what to do and what should not be done.
Arnav stopped the car in front of Purna's house and looked at the surroundings cautiously. He rang the calling bell and waited for the door to get opened. Purna opened the door after a few seconds. She smiled at him and welcomed him inside.
"Please come in Bhaiya"
"How is your mother?" Arnav asked without showing any difference on his face.
"She is fine now, bhaiya..."
Arnav raised his brows as she said the same answer Khushi mentioned.
"But, how?"
"The ambulance reached after I disconnected your call. The ambulance doctor treated my mother."
Arnav faced a tough time hiding his shock hearing the same as Khushi told. He got alerted as everything was happening as Khushi said. Arnav ran his eyes in the house casually not showing his nervousness.
"OK, then... I'm leaving..." he said.
"Have something, Bhaiya..."
There it came... he remembered the message sent by an unknown man. *DON'T DRINK AND EAT ANYTHING IN PURNA'S HOUSE*
"No, I just had dinner"
"That's ok, Bhaiya... have some milk at least"
Arnav smiled and nodded ok while taking a seat. Purna rushed to the kitchen to bring him milk. Within a few minutes, Purna came with milk glass and handed it to him. taking it from her hand, Arnav asked.
"What did the doctor say about your mother?"
"He said she must not get stressed" her eyes were on the milk glass while said that.
"Oh..." Arnav took the glass towards his mouth and stopped, observing her face. he saw disappointment on her face.
"Didn't the doctor give medicines?"
"He prescribed a few medicines"
"Ohh... bring the prescription... I will bring the medicine"
"That's ok, Bhaiya... I will get them. You came here for us, it's enough"
"Khushi will get upset with me if I didn't do the job perfectly"
"No, Bhaiya..."
Arnav kept the milk glass on the tea table.
"I won't drink the milk if you don't bring the prescription," he said folding his hands.
Purna was annoyed.
"I will bring it... you please have the milk"
"That's good" Arnav took the glass again.
Purna rushed to her mother's room to bring the prescription. Taking a bit of paper, she wrote a few medicine names on it. when she came to the living room, Arnav kept the empty glass on the table. He saw a relaxation on Purna's face. She extended the prescription to Arnav. He grabbed it from her hand and read it. Purna was keenly observing him was not gone unnoticed by Arnav.
Arnav stood with the prescription. He pressed his head and sat on the chair again. He blinked his eyes, widening them. Purna smiled, seeing him struggling.
"Something is happening to me..." he said, shaking his head.
Purna folded her hands and stood with an attitude, without caring about what he said.
"Hey... give me some water," Arnav asked.
"No use of having water, Bhai sab..." she said.
"Wh...why?" he stammered. He felt him losing his consciousness.
"Come fast..." Purna hurried.
Arnav tried to keep his eyes open. He saw Purna's mother RUSHING towards him.
"Hey... you...? Could you walk?" he asked shockingly even in a semi-conscious state.
"She can even run, hai na Moni?" Purna said.
"Moni? Are you calling your mother by her name?"
"Mother? And she?" Purna laughed.
Moni came close to Arnav and pinched his cheek.
"I have never seen such a sexy man like you"
Arnav tried to get up from the chair. Moni pressed his shoulders and made him sit again. At the same time, someone entered in. Arnav widened his eyes, seeing the person who smiled at Purna. Arnav could not believe his own eyes.
"Youuuuu?" he asked.
"Yeah, it's me..." he smirked.
"What are you doing here?"
"I'm doing what is assigned to me," he said.
"Is everything a drama?"
"Finally, he understood that" he laughed.
He was none other than the same guy who misbehaved with purna at the bus stand the other day.
"Come on, Max... make it fast..." Purna ordered.
"Yeah, remove his dress. We have to capture a few intimate pics of him with Purna quickly" Moni said.
Max neared Arnav and touched his shirt button. The next second, he fell to the ground, clutching his jaw as a strong punch shook his jaw bone. Arnav stood up fisting his fingers. He looked at Purna wrathfully. Purna stepped back, seeing his anger whereas Moni hid behind Purna.
Max got horrified as he remembered Arnav's encounter at the time of their drama. Arnav kicked him on his chest, making Max curl down. The trio had no idea how Arnav could stand after having the spiked milk.
When Purna went to the kitchen to bring milk, Arnav followed her and watched her without making noise hiding behind the wall. As he expected, she mixed something in the milk. Arnav got back to the chair and sat, without reacting. And when Purna went to bring the prescription, he poured the milk into the washbasin and kept the empty glass on the tea table.
"What do you think? Am I an idiot?" Arnav moved towards Purna furiously. She moved back with fear.
That's when Max saw a log kept in the corner of the room. He took it in his hand and raised it to hit Arnav but he could not as someone was holding the log from behind. He turned her head and saw a gigantic man standing, clutching the log. Yup... it was a well-known man to us... according to Arnav, he was HULK. Arnav was also surprised, seeing Victor at the right time. Arnav could not believe it when Aman said Victor was his man and he was following Arnav. Now, he had no choice other than to believe it. More to his surprise, he saw Khushi standing at the entrance, spitting fire on Purna.
