Chapter 4: Digging into his past
Let's begin....
Sanskar was confused of what he was going to say to his mom.
Didn't he was going to say he loves Ragini?
He clutches the railing of terrace.
"I Love you Sanskar."
"We will be together always na Sanskar?"
He closes his eyes where hot tears rolls down his cheeks.
He remembers himself completing the last rites.
"Sans.. Sanskar.. i.. i want to die as your wife" she struggled in his arms.
He wipes the tears and controls himself not to burst into the cries.
"You.. you have a beau.. (she breathes heavily)beautiful life ahead Sanskar. You have to move on but... I will be always your first love"he remember her smile on the blood smeared face and she was caressing his cheeks.
" And i know .. you will fall in love with someone like me.. you will annoy her you will irritate her and you will find me in.... Her"she breathed her last in his arms and she was smiling.
Sanskar wipes the tears and moves to room and washes his face and left out a breath. He married Ragini to not spoil swalak's life and not let her spoil her life and his mission is bring back the Innocent Ragini. But what he is ending up with?
While on the other side...
Ragini:sasu mummy it's been half an hour you got me in your room. But didn't say a word?
Sujatha looks at her and holds her:my sanskar is innocent..
Ragini makes faces and herself:as if he don't even know to bite his own finger!
Ragini just nods.
Sujatha:i am ready to help you for my Sanskar's future. But what should i do?
Ragini:yeh hui na baat. Now i can assure that you will have a very good daughter-in-law in the future.start searching now only!
Sujatha smiles:i will!!
Ragini:but between all i want to know who is kavitha?
Sujatha looks at her.
Ragini: what should i do to make Sanskar to hate me....?
After sometime...
Annapurna:tomorrow morning our society ladies are coming here for the muh dikhai.and bua is gonna come.
Laksh:bua!!
Annapurna nods:and pari please Swara and Ragini and tell them what have to do.
Pari nods.
She forwards a lehenga with some jewellery to swara.
Swara takes it.
Annapurna:laksh don't go anywhere tomorrow!!
Laksh nods and smiles.
Annapurna sees sujatha who is lost.
And she sees Ragini who was making an extremely sad face.
Sanskar who just came there sees it and stood beside Ragini and mumbles to her: what's going on?
Ragini smiles and audible to him:Your devi Swara is getting praises.listen listen!
Sanskar looks at her being annoyed.
Annapurna sees him,she feels he is hurting Ragini.
Annapurna:sujatha.
Sujatha looks at her and she takes the thal which was having jeweleries and lehenga.she gives to Ragini..and then stood beside Annapurna.
Sanskar audible to Ragini:so my wife is gonna look sooper hot in this lehenga!
Ragini was annoyed but still smiles:i will see you later!
Sanskar: that's what i want you only see me!
Ragini : don't dream..but who knows further you want me to seeyou or you will never want to see me..
She goes to room putting up a riddle for him which made him sure that she is up to something.
Sanskar was about to go.
Annapurna:Sanskar..Laksh.i want to speak something with you both.
And they nods and sits on the sofa.
Annapurna:your wives are the person who left their world to be in your world.so it's your responsibility to help them adjust to it.
Laksh nods.
Annapurna:and Sanskar, specially i request to you this one!
Sanskar looks on confused.
Annapurna: I don't want to repeat in what situation you got her married with..but anyways it's a pure relation and besides Ragini is so innocent,she too expects love and care from her husband.i hope you are understanding. Whatever you did was wrong,to make it right don't play with her feelings.
She goes.
Laksh looks at him:did something happen between you and Ragini?
Sanskar looks at him.
Laksh: but Ragini is very nice bhai..
Sanskar just smiles :i know.
And pats his shoulder:between you go swara might need you!
Laksh goes.
Sanskar gets thinking,she did something really behind him.
After sometime....
Annapurna enters into laksh's room with tears:laksh!!
Laksh who was talking over the phone with his friend looks at her:maa..
He disconnects the call:is everything okay.
He moves to her.
Swara comes out of washroom.
Annapurna:your dad is hospitalized.
Laksh:what?which hospital?
Seeing her crying he hugs her consoling her bit.
Annapurna:your chacha ji had called.
Laksh : don't worry maa let's go.nothing can happen to papa!
They moves out followed by swara.
Ragini who was about to enter the room senses this.
Ragini:maa?!
She quickly moves which also alerts sanskar who was working in the laptop!
Ragini:what happened?
Laksh: actually papa is hospitalized we don't know much.we have to go and see.
Sanskar:then let's go.
All moves to hospital!
And in sometime they reached hospital.
Ram was already present there.
Sanskar:dad what happened to Bade papa?
Ram: don't know sanskar,suddenly he got unwell and had vomiting.while reaching here he got his bp low.doctor was saying it's a bad sign since he is a heart patient.
Annapurna was crying while laksh was consoling her.
Just then Doctor comes..
Sanskar:doctor is he fine?
Doctor:he is out of danger and i had already told him that he should have the healthy food only.the food he ate this morning got a food poisoning.and since already he is a heart patient also has the problem of blood pressure.so i am telling you,you should take care of him.
Ragini:can we take him home?
Doctor:till evening he needs to be here and you should be conscious about his health.
Sanskar thanks the doctor.
Annapurna to swara: i had asked you so many times but still you said you can make i told about his health to you but you still...if something had happened to him then i could have never forgive you.
Swara cries:i am sorry maa..
Ragini looks at Sanskar.he signs her what?
Ragini:Save your maatha!
He gets annoyed.
Annapurna:stay out of my sight before i do something.
She cries.sujatha consoles her and nurse comes and tells them that any one person can stay and Annapurna goes!
Laksh bit angrily:now why are you crying swara?got the results of your mistakes.i had told you that i can never tolerate if you hurt my mother.hope you learn from the mistakes.
Ragini smiles and looks at Sanskar.
Sanskar fumes and gave her look.
Ragini:your devi needs you!
She moves to Pari and talks with her.
And Sanskar:huh..this is getting insane!
Sanskar was in the hospital.he looks around he didn't find laksh neither Ragini!
He sees swara was sitting upset.
He stood and sees pari.
Sanskar:bhabhi did you see Ragini?
Pari: actually Ragini went to mansion with laksh..
Sanskar:when?
Pari:you went to get the medicines then.Ragini would get the food for papa.since you were not there so laksh accompanied!
Sanskar gets worried.
While here on the other side.
Laksh was driving the car.
Ragini sees him: don't worry he will be alright!
Laksh nods.
Ragini:still now upset with swara?
Laksh:Ragini now please don't take her side.what she did could have harmed papa...
Ragini smirks:i know swara ko aisa karna nahi chahiye tha..if she didn't knew at least she could have asked with me.sometimes she becomes stubborn.and anyone can't do anything.
Laksh:but now she should learn the things.she should change.
Ragini places her hand on his shoulder: don't worry she will learn.i know your anger is right.but you should stay strong..mistake is committed now you should look further then trying curse what had happened!

He turns to her smiles a bit
Soon they reach.
While Ragini goes to kitchen and cooks the light food.
After cooking she thinks to meet laksh.they were alone so this would be the right moment.
She sees him resting in the sofa.
She moves to him:laksh..
He turns to her.and smiles a bit.
Ragini:you look so pale shall i get some food for you?
Laksh:no Ragini..i am fine..
Ragini:no let me get juice for you.
He was about to deny.
Ragini: don't you consider me as your friend.then you should listen to me.
And he nods and smiles.
She gets the juice for him and gives him.
He drinks it : Thankyou Ragini..
Ragini: don't thank now making it feel like i am doing the job!
Laksh smiles:you are the best!
He holds her hand:and Thankyou for making me feel good!
Ragini smiles.she was so happy to be with him.
And packing the food they goes to hospital.
She was all the way admiring laksh.
Once they reach..
She enters the ward and gives the tiffin to Annapurna.
Ragini smiles at Dp:how are you now?
Dp smiles a bit and nods.
Ragini:you will get fine soon.dont get tensed. Since this is the life then this is normal what we have to do is to stay very strong.and i know you are really very strong!!
Both smiles at her.
Ragini:i will leave.
She smiles and they nods and she moves out!
Sanskar crosses his eyes at Ragini as she was all smiling.
When he holds her hand and she pulls her hand from him
Ragini sees swara: didn't you go to console your idol?
Sanskar face-palms and looks at her:why should i go?
Ragini:why are you asking this?she is your jaan na!
Sanskar:Ragini...i am unusually hating her now by your such referring?
Ragini acts shocked:really?really you hate your favourite swara?are you fine?we are in the hospital come let's go and do the check up!
Sanskar:very funny.
Ragini:between it was my special day i spent beautiful moment with laksh.
Sanskar:really? when you spent the moment?and when you cooked?between bhabhi and devar is also such a pure relation no?
She glares him.

He smiles:how was it?

Everyone looks at him...
Ragini:Sanskar ji...(he looks at her)i am telling you from long time you should consult the doctor.
Adarsh:what happened?
Ragini: actually bhaiyya sanskar is unwell from 2 days...
(Audible to sanskar):because he thinks i can't get laksh.
Sanskar gave her a look.

She makes extremely sad face.

Sanskar looks on thinking what happened to this sweet person.she never spoke like this to him.it seems he just gave much freedom to Ragini!
Sanskar:okay let's go.
He drags Ragini to out patient ward.
She pulls her hand from him: don't be touchy with me.it's Laksh's right because laksh is in my heart!
He in a flirty tone with a nurse:hey beautiful.
Ragini looks at him weirdly.
Sanskar:i am sanskar!!
He forwards his hand while the nurse smiles and shakes her hand with him:Piyali!
Sanskar:good name.actually i wanted to ask you that do you have sanitizer here?
Piyali smiles and nods.and she picks the sanitizer bottle.
Sanskar:not this one do you get heart sanitizer?
Ragini glares him
She looks confused:no.. there's no such sanitizer. May be it is a new brand.you can see in pharmacy..
Sanskar:no i asked the sanitizer for the heart.
She smiles:are you flirting with me?
Sanskar smiles leans to her desk:somewhat..
Ragini was about to go when he held her wrist.

Piyali smiles.
Sanskar:between there's no such sanitizer?
She nods in no.
Sanskar:okay then i will leave.
He moves.
Ragini:what are you trying to prove?
Sanskar:what i am proving now,i am thinking to visit some research center to make heart sanitizer specially for my darling wife.
He hits her shoulder with his.
She stumbles a bit.she points her finger to him angrily :your this attitude won't work on me.
Sanskar:then what type of attitude will work on you?
She was about to say something but stops and herself:wait for tomorrow.i will see what type of attitude you will have.
Sanskar looks on.
She just goes making him confused.
Later at the night...
Ragini serves the foid on tray and gives to pari.
Pari smiles:you should practice Ragini..
Ragini: it's okay bhabhi it would have been difficult for you to do it alone.
Pari smiles and goes.
Swara comes there.
Ragini sees her but she was wiping and cleaning the slab.
Swara:why are you acting to be a good sister in front of all?
Ragini: learnt from you!
Swara:what i did with you?you only pushed me to the river.did you thought if i say to laksh or the family what would be the consequences.
Ragini looks around:did anyone stop you to do that?you had a good chance but with your mahaantha you lost it.but now do you think anyone will believe?but still I won't tell you to not to try but you can still try.huff for tomorrow i have to practice.
Swara smiles a bit:you think only you know to play the wicked games..?if i start then i fear what might happen to you?

She was about to move.
Swara: tomorrow you will the great loss then will see.because right is always right,so i am standing where it's right and you are wrong.so anyways wrong won't have long journey!
Ragini turns to her blinking her eyes.she nods passing a mocking smile!
And moves.
While in the room.
She sees Sanskar wasn't in the room:chalo kuch tho accha hua!
She smiles and enters bringing the sitar.
She plays it.
And Sanskar enters the room.
She sees him but she continues with her practice.
Sanskar:wah wah..
Ragini ignores him.
He smiles and sees her playing the sitar.
Ragini was getting angry the way he is staring her.and she tries to ignore him but stops playing it and she looks at him angrily: didn't you see someone playing the sitar?huh!
Sanskar:cool cool.actually i only heard about how beautifully you play it but today i saw it.now with this sing lullaby too i will sleep like earlier!
Ragini: why are you doing this with me?
Sanskar:doing what?
Ragini turns holding her sitar and plays it.
He moves to that side to annoy her.
Ragini: don't you have sense..
Sanskar:i am using it see i see you from my eyes listen from my ears...
Ragini interrupts:i am no mood to laugh at your joke!
He laughs:but i am!
Ragini was about stand.
Sanskar:sit sit sit.i have work i will do that.you practice.
She just nods.
While he sits holding the laptop but he just admires Ragini..
Next morning.....
Ragini was ready in white and gold mix lehenga.
She applies the apply on her forehead.she gets frustrated thinking in whose name she is putting it.
Sanskar comes out of washroom he was wearing a white kurta with the golden scarf around his neck.
Ragini crosses her eyes:you were supposed to wear green...
Sanskar:i wanted to complement with you see how romantic.
She angrily throws the perfume bottle on him but he holds it:you really know what i needed.
She smiles at him which he didn't expect.
Ragini herself:will see Sanskar.how you will not put me out of your life!
Sanskar :do i look that handsome?
Ragini just smiles and moves out.
While he gets confused...

Swara was standing and veil was covering face.
When a lady comes.she was revealed to be elder sister of Durgaprasad and Ramprasad,Vasundara!
She had a serious look.
Annapurna and sujatha takes the blessings.
Vasundara blesses them:Sujatha, what's with your son?once you told he is no more once you told he returned and once you told he is mentally ill.what's happening in the home?
Sujatha gets scared:jiji.. it's it's...
Vasundara:leave it I don't have enough time to waste on your reasons.
She goes and sits and ladies join there.
Ragini comes there she was also in veil!
She looks at Sujatha.who just nods to her.
Swara and Ragini takes blessings from Vasundara.
Annapurna was about to introduce them but vasundara stops her.
Swara plays the guitar.
While every ladies gossips around.
Vasundara doesn't say anything.
A lady:Annapurna ji...do you think we have come to listen such music?
Swara looks on:but what's wrong in this?

And they start to insult swara
Ragini looks on and stands:maaf ki jiyega..
All looks at her.
Ragini being genuine:isme koi galati nahi hai.this is also an art.not everyone are blessed with it and there's lot of hardwork needed to do it and i think Swara had did no wrong presenting her talent.
Swara looks at her,she feels Ragini was trying to be good and she didn't wanted to be sympathised.
Swara:playing guitar is what i do everyday but i can play other instruments too...
Vasundara just nods to swara.
Ragini looks at swara,swara just smiles.
Lady:then it would be a competition between you both.
Swara smiles as wanted this to make Ragini lose.
Swara:then i want fair chance that Ragini also should play guitar.
Ragini looks at her,because she don't know to play the guitar.swara knows to play the sitar, but she don't know to play guitar because she was not interested in it.
Ragini:but I can't play it because i have never learnt it.
Vasundara:i am not here to listen what you know and what you don't.. respect the arts and don't waste the time!
Both starts up with sitar.
Swara was fully confident that she had practiced it whole night.
Both plays the sitar.in sometime swara stood and she sings and dances.

And it was when a lady:may be laksh couldn't control himself seeing his wife so he came directly!
And other ladies laugh.
Sanskar left out a breath and moves.
Before laksh could deny.
Another lady:see how beautiful they are looking together.
Vasundara:when i got your photo then only i liked you at first sight and i felt you are perfect for laksh.
Sanskar from behind:bua..
Vasundara looks at him and her smile vanishes.

Vasundara removes the bangles from her hand and gives to Swara.swara smiles and takes it and thanks her.she looks at Ragini with a smile!
And vasundara moves. Ragini looks on as she wasn't rewarded!
It wasn't that she wants the reward but she expected...it was like still Swara won!
She looks at Sanskar.
He smiles:you were Amazing!
This time she smiles genuinely at him!
And every ladies gifts both of them.
A lady:now it should be their husbands who should gift their wives!
Sanskar looks on because he didn't knew such things. He wasn't aware off.
Sanskar looks at his mother as he asked if there is anything he have to give or do. But his mother had denied it.but still he smiles as he got the pair of bangles for her long back to her it was in his wardrobe.
Swara looks at laksh, though he was upset with her he got earrings for her. He smiles a bit giving to swara.
While Ragini gets upset seeing those earrings.
Lady: Sanskar, didn't you got anything for your wife?
Ragini smirks:no aunty.. Sanskar got me these..
Sanskar looks confused of what she was talking about.
Ragini lifts her skirt a little revealing the pair of Anklets.
Sanskar looks on shocked.
Lady:oh he already gave it to you.
"These Anklets are so special for me Sanskar. Because this is your first gift to me. I will never separate this from me"Kavitha's words rings in his ears.
He fists his hands.
When Ragini sees change of expression in him and smirk crawls on her lips.
And she looks at sujatha who just blinks her eyes.
