chapter 5: Solution for him!
Let's begin....
Vasundara: what's going on in this house durga? Leave about sanskar...now what's with laksh? I remember you showing the picture of girl saying you found a match for laksh and now she is Sanskar's wife. Kaisa mazzak chal raha hai yahan.
Dp and Ram and Annapurna looks at her.they were scared of her.
Vasundara: it's like elders in the house has no value at all!!
Dp:jiji.. it's all that nowadays if we retrict our kids they would find that we are against them. I didn't wanted the history to repeat again. You know Sanskar's missing things.
Vasundara:there was a time Sanskar was the best kid from Maheshwari.but he did everything that now i feel ..
She nods her head in disgusted:and may be now laksh is also following his steps.youngsters at least should understand the value of elders.they should have that much of sense that before doing anything they should talk to us.lajsh married the girl he loved and Sanskar got married on same day.what will people say.it was good that guests have been left once Laksh's wife got missing but now this would spread around.the respect earned in these years will be spoiled in some seconds. Annapurna smiles a bit:they are good.
Vasundara:and durga take care of yourself.kids have all grown up let them handle the buisiness.nd i think you should let Adarsh to look at the business.now i find he is the only capable person for this.
To which Dp nods.
While here on the other side Sanskar was searching a bag in his wardrobe where he kept Kavitha's belongings.
Ragini from behind: it's the same. You don't need to search!
Sanskar turns to her.
Ragini:it looks so good on me right?
She was testing his patience.he fists his hand.he looks other side.
Ragini:kya hua?i am your dear wife right?
She takes his tear drop in her fingertip moving to him :it seems you are not happy.Aww...what happened?if you don't tell me how would i get to know about it?
She moves around him and smiles nodding her head and sits on the bed making sure that those anklets are seen.
Ragini: what i am thinking is...i should wear this daily.the chiming of these anklets you know i loved it so much.
She smirks.
Ragini:between i was thinking to alter this a little. What's your take on this?
Sanskar didn't replied a word to her.
Ragini:i think someone had already wore this so i think i should alter this.
He was about to move.
Ragini:wait My temporary pati dev.itni bhi jaldi kya hai?tell me at least how it looks on me?now don't you want to look at this hot wife?arey...you only say let's go to room and now you don't want to complement to me at least.i can expect it!
Sanskar closes his eyes,his back was faced to her.hot tears rolls down his cheeks.
Ragini:bechaari kavitha,she didn't even knew that you would be so desperate for marriage forgetting her.see her belongings are also mine now.hope wherever she is i pray that she won't feel bad and Rests in peace.that's why she left the world very early because she couldn't have tolerated your true colours.
Sanskar leaves from there banging the door.
Ragini got startled by the noise and she laughs victoriously!
And she sees swara standing in front of her.
Swara smiles in disgust:how can you become so heartless Ragini?
Swara heard everything,she had slightest idea of Sanskar has a past.and today Ragini made fun of his emotions.
Swara:you cannot achieve anything by hurting someone Ragini..
Ragini just nods mockingly:badi chinta hai aapko devi ji.yeh jaan kar hum dhany ho gaye.
Swara with tears:Ragini..you were not like this.you cannot see anyone hurt!
Ragini:ask yourself!!
Swara: don't blame me Ragini. You made me agree for the marriage. Yes,i agree that i fell in love with laksh, because seeing his love for me i started to lose myself. But still I didn't agreed to him but you made me do it.if you remember!
Ragini just nods to her:yes yes yes!
Swara:if you had asked me laksh...
Ragini being irritated:bass.. don't you get tired repeating the same dialogues? it's like your script writer have gave you only this...
Swara fumes:you need to understand before it's too late.
Ragini nods her head with a sarcastic smile:okay it's nit late right..then give me laksh.qissa khatam!
Swara : you don't deserve... At least fear God!
Ragini stood and claps her hand as if she is removing dusts: don't tell me what i should do and what i should not. Humne pooja kiya aur aaye gaye sabhi wrath rakha,hume kya milaa?humne tho sirf laksh ko maangha tha.laksh is mine and now i know how to take my belongings,and God is with me!
Swara:keep dreaming it won't ever happen!
She goes out.
After sometime...
Sujatha holds Ragini's arms:where is Sanskar?you told me that you will not hurt him!
Ragini:why are you asking me?call him and ask him..
Sujatha cries:he isn't picking the call.i shouldn't have helped you.. I don't know where he is..how he is!!
Ragini:oh sasu mummy..your son is not a 5 year old that he won't be knowing how to come back.when he knew to come back after 5 years then he would come.
(Herself): it's good if he doesn't return only.then it will be easier for me!
She frees her hand from sujatha:i am tired..i need to sleep.so please don't disturb me.
She goes and closes the door and rests since she was tired after the function.
While sujatha gets tensed for Sanskar
After entering room Ragini changes into simple blue colour saree.
Ragini remembers Sanskar's reaction and silence and nods her head with smile:now he would know the price of messing with me.
She moves out to look at the family members may be she might get some chances to get close with laksh.
She was passing by Vasundara's room when she calls Ragini.
Ragini turns and smiles and enters her room.
Vasundara signs her to sit.
Ragini sits.
Vasundara gives her the box.
Ragini takes it.
Vasundara:open it and see...
It had a necklace
Ragini smiles a bit.
Vasundara smiles a little:you are extremely talented.and this is for your muh dikhayi!
Ragini smiles and thanks her.
Vasundara:i had kept those bangles for Laksh's wife and i had misunderstood you to be one and these necklace now belongs to you.this one i had kept it for Sanskar's wife.
Ragini fakes a smile.she didn't wanted to listen herself as Sanskar's wife!
After talking to her Ragini moves out and being annoyed mutters: Sanskar's wife..!!
She thinks to enter the terrace.
When she sees swalak hugging.
Laksh:i know swara i shouldn't have shouted at you like that but at that moment.
Swara cups his cheeks: it's fine.i did the mistake and anyone your place would have done the same.
Ragini fumes,how he ends up losing in front of swara always?
Swara:and i am still guilty and don't know how to show my face to papa..
Laksh: don't worry he had forgiven you.
Swara gets sad:but still..
Laksh:i have some medicine for this why don't we go for long drive only you and me!
Swara:no not now..i think I can't be able to do anything until papa doesn't get fine.
Laksh:okay then..
He moves close to her and was about to kiss her on her lips when swara pushes him:abhi nahi..
Laksh:this is not fair swara.now i am your husband.
Swara passes him a look:so what?
He tickles her:so what??haan??
She laughs:laksh please please leave...
Ragini burns in anger but equally she was sad and hurt.
She moves from there.building up the plan to get close to laksh and separate swalak.
She sees in study room..
Dp Ram and Adarsh were discussing about a tender.
Ragini smiles and it was time to execute another plan where she can get a chance to move along with laksh.
Ragini enters:bade papa!!
Dp looks at her.
Ragini:you are not well and still working.you should be in rest now!
Dp smiles a bit:now i am fine simply everyone are worrying about me!
Ragini:but yesterday only ..
Dp interrupts:i am fine beta..
Ram:i also told him Ragini but he is a workaholic.
When she sees the Accounts book which kept on side.
Ragini:can i help something then?
Trio looks at her.
Ragini:if you don't want then okay ....
Dp:you did degree in Accounts right..
Ragini smiles:haan bade papa.
Dp:then you can help us with the accounts.
While Ram and Adarsh looks shocked.they didn't expect it.
Dp: tomorrow it needs to be completed and here the presentation is not perfectly ready yet so it would be difficult for us to see the accounts.
Ragini smiles and he gives the book.
When vasundara comes there:Ragini..
Ragini turns:ji bua ji!
Vasundara:you left the gift in my room itself.
Ragini left it because she was not interested in it.
Vasundara sees the book in her hands.
Vasundara:now leaving the home you will do office work?
They looks at her.
Ragini places the book back:i just thought to help. Taking use of our knowledge is better than keeping is unused this is what i learnt from my childhood and...
She stops:i am sorry if it hurts but durga maa ne bhi khud se mahishasur ka naash kiya tha unhe Mahishasurdamini bhi kaha jata hai.in this only we get to know ...(she sees Vasundara who gave her a strong look in low voice)ladkiyan bhi bohoth kuch kar sakti hai.but now it's just a accounts....abhi koi mahishasur nahi hai na!
Adarsh and Ram smiles controlling their laughter.
Vasundara:hmm..
She forwards the box and Ragini takes it and was about to move.
Ragini:bua ji can i do it?
Vasundara just moves from there.
Ram:that means you can do.
Ragini:i will get pari bhabhi too..she is genius in Accounts.we can can make it faster.
Adarsh looks at dp.
Dp nods.Adarsh smiles.
Ragini goes and gets pari with her.pari was scared because from her family she was only taught to stay in kitchen room or serving in-laws and study room is something unless cleaning it she have never come for it.
And she smiles and does the work with Ragini.
Later..
It was night...
Everyone are sitting in the dining except sanskar.Ragini pari and swara serves the dinner
Vasundara:Ragini bahu where is your husband?
Ragini looks at sujatha who just avoids her controlling her tears.
Ragini didn't knew what to answer as she didn't had urge to know if he returned or not!
Annapurna:Ragini..jiji is asking something to you!
Ragini didn't reply...
Vasundara looks at Annapurna as she informed her that Sanskar is not in good terms with Ragini.
Ragini:i will call and see..
They nods all continues with dinner.
Ragini moves to room angrily:whole day was easy without him.now i have to call him.
She phone calls him.he doesn't pick the call.in middle she disconnects:let him stay wherever he is at least i am peaceful.
She moves back to dining:woh ..bua ji he is having some work so he will get late.
Vasundara nods.
Ragini left out a breath.
While sanskar was sitting in the home.
And in the piano.he was playing it continuously.it was like his wounds got fresh again!
Whole day he was playing it.
And it starts to rain..
He could listen her laughters
"Sanskar it's raining let's go out!"
"Kavi..you will catch cold"
" Arey you only say life is small..we should live enjoying each moment"
His hand was hurting by playing the piano.
And he felt a hand on his.
And it's her.....
Sanskar:kavitha!!
She smiles:from morning you are here.what's the plan?
Sanskar smiles and he couldn't believe his eyes and was about touch her when she holds his hand.
Kavitha:come let's go out to the rain.what will happen?
Sanskar smiles:energy will boost.
Kavitha smiles and drags him out.
He gets drenched in rain and looks around for kavitha and finds her sitting in stairs and laughing:see..more than me you love rain but still act as of i will get cold.
Sanskar smiles.
Kavitha:will you get the solution sanskar if you stay here?
Sanskar bends his head and reminisces how Ragini made fun of his emotions!
Kavitha:use bohoth chahte ho na?(you like her a lot right?)
Sanskar looks at her and nods in no.
She smiles:tho phir mujhe chahte ho?(then do you like me?)
He nods in no.
Kavitha:yeh lo.new problem,you didn't expect that she will do this to you.so you came here..??arey buddhu ram(she slaps on her forehead)why you came here then?
He smiles a bit drenching in rain.
Kavitha:journey have already started and you are still in starting point.tell me tumhe jeethna hai ki nahi?
He nods in no with a smile.
She huffs:then why you came here duffer!
He laughs a bit.
She smiles in a soft tone:go and show her who you are and what you are?i am sure she can never resist you.
She smiles with the glassy eyes:she can never!!
Kavi:suno don't lover her more than me.
Sanskar:i will.
Kavi gave him a look:and don't cuddle more on to her.
Sanskar smiles:i will.
Kavi: don't annoy her like me because you annoy and irritate the one whom you love!
Sanskar:i will annoy her more than you.
Kavi:then do it!
She laughs.and his smile vanishes covering the annoyance.
Kavi:see i know how to bring the words from heart to lips.
He smiles being annoyed and nods:too hard!
Kavi:see i and only her can annoy you.not only you who can annoy!
Stretching his lips he nods accepting to her.
She stood :and haan..you can put her photograph in your purse now.where earlier you used to put mine.and you can love her like me but khabardaar mujhse zyada pyaar kiya tho...i would feel..... (She laughs) you can love her more then me. See who would give permission like this?
Sanskar:only my kavi!
Kavitha:okay..but don't forget what you did every year on my birthday. (Bit strictly)i want you to continue for forever.
She laughs.
He was about to holds her and she vanished.he looks around for her
And He stood drenching in the rain fisting his hands.
