Yes, she was the same Maya who was Akash's mother, Ratna's friend, Arnav's well-wisher, and who wanted to have Khushi as her daughter-in-law. She was the non-identical twin of Sona.
"Please don't be upset... we will definitely find a way to stop the Pooja," Sona said.
"How? How will you stop the Pooja? I told you, how powerful Khushi is... she is not like us who earned the power by doing poojas and keeping fast. It's her birth nature. Beena was silent.

"Then what could we do?" Meena asked.
"We should kidnap her. Should bring her here... we should do that before the Pooja"
"But how? She won't come out of RM until the Pooja gets over and there is only one day left for the Pooja. It's the day after tomorrow. We have no time" Sona said.
"I will think about it," Maya said.
She looked at the MAN IN BLACK.
"Why are you bowing down now? We can do nothing with your repentance, Dheeraj" she chided.
"I'm sorry, Didi. I should not have gone to her. I didn't expect she would make a quick decision to touch my feet. In fact, I didn't expect she would know the effect of touching my feet"
"She should have gotten to know about it in the ashram"

"I will take care of them... and I will not let the pooja get success," Maya said.
"But how? What could you do?"
"I will visit RM on the Pooja day"
"Whaaaat? Visiting RM on Pooja Day? but why? What could you do? Are you going to blow off the lamps?"
"No... Khushi will keep fasting that day. She will drink only liquids, no solid food"
"So?"
"l will mix MEAT in Khushi's drink... her whole Pooja will go in vain"
"Wow...what a great idea... this is why you are superior among us" Deeraj flattered her.

Sona nodded yes.
"Where are you sons, Harish and Harsh?" Maya asked Sona.

Arnav was having coffee with Khushi after a power nap. He got a call from Aman. Arnav attended it.
"Haan, Aman"
"ASR, I need Chopra's transaction details. Could you please send me a screenshot?"

Arnav disconnected the call and went to the cupboard. He pulled the bunch of files and searched for Chopra's file. That was when the paper cutting slipped down from them.
Before Arnav bent down to take it, Khushi did that. Arnav sent a screenshot to Aman and kept the file back. Arnav saw her giving a look at the news.
"Khushi, the news will not change no matter how many times you read it"
"No, Arnavji... the news changed," she said with a shocked expression.
"What are you saying?"
"We saw the killer photo in Sona's house in which the name was written as Jai Kishan"
"Yes,"
"But, in this news, the killer's name has been mentioned as DEERAJ"
"Whaaaat?" Arnav snatched the paper and looked at the name.
"Jai Kishan had a scar on his brow but Dheeraj didn't... That means the man we saw today is Deeraj"
Arnav closed his eyes and remembered something. He opened his eyes jerking.
"Yes, the man who killed Ma also didn't have the scar. I saw his face when Ma pulled his mask" Arnav said.
"That means, the killer is still alive..."
"Yes, the police should have misunderstood that Jai Kishan is Deeraj"
"Exactly..." Khushi said.
"I was so disappointed when I got to know the killer had died..." Arnav said gritting his teeth.
"His fate will end in Ma's hand..." Khushi said.
That was when they heard,
"Whose life?"
They saw Ratna coming.
"Ma, the killer is still alive. The one we met today is the killer. The one who died in an accident eighteen years ago was his twin"
"Is it?"
"Yes, the killer was Deeraj. The dead one is Jai Kishan"
"How did you identify him? Didn't he change in the eighteen years?"

Before Arnav said anything,

Ratna sighed.

Inspector's reply shook him to the core.
"His husband..." said the inspector.
