The given table reveals details about the underground railway system in six cites , including date opened, kilometres of route and passengers per year.
As it is shown in the table, London is the city with the earliest underground system since 1863, while Los Angeles has the latest one in 2001.
The earlier opened system in London, Paris and Tokyo have more kilometres of route, ranging from above 150 to approximately 400. Tokyo appears to have the highest number of passengers per year, at well over 1900 millions. The system in London, even though was constructed sooner with an impressive number of kilometres of route, has fewer passengers annually, at around 800 millions.
The underground railway systems in Washington DC, Kyoto and Los Angeles started more recently and have shorter routes. The length of the system in Kyoto is about one third of that in Los Angeles, however, they have almost the same number of passengers every year, with Kyoto at 45 millions, and Los Angeles at 50 millions.

Some people think that a sense of competition in children should be encouraged. Others believe that children who are taught to co-operate rather than compete become more useful adults.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Some people see life as a cutthroat competition, and children should prepare themselves by being willing to oppose anytime. However, others suggest that mutual assistance will be the key for people so as to make contributions to the society. This essay will discuss both views before reaching to a certain conclusion.
Children who are taught to be competitive would have a better grasp of the cruel reality and tend to be more prepared as they truly enter the adulthood. For example, when they were taught that most humans have to compete harshly against one another to thrive in life, they will not have to experience the shock and disbelief as they witness the fact that some are willing to do anything for betterment of their lives. However, being too realistic at such an early age can destroy the innocence of a child, making it difficult for the child to have trust in people and raise the likelihood that the child feels lonely when growing up.
Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses, and when working together as a team, they are more likely to bring out a product of perfection. Also, working with others provides children with the chance to develop all the skills they used to lack, as well as the most effective and effortless way to communicate with people. In this way, children will be able to improve their knowledge and equip themselves with amazing soft skills simultaneously. Many reserved kids have been placed in a wonderful group by teachers and this action has successfully turned children into much more outgoing and approachable versions of themselves.
In conclusions, each teaching plan has different impacts on children. In my point of view, I consider being co-operative a more vital trait that our future citizens need for the sake of the world's development.
